After only two weeks of NCAA football, what are the top 10 teams you've identified that are already showing signs of being overrated?

Mine are LSU (sadly), and USC. Haven't seen enough from the others' schedules yet to determine anything.

USC?

USC, like many many of the ignored PAC 10 teams, are ofter underrated.

I'm interested to see if Carroll goes with Corp this Saturday against Washington because of Barkley's injury and Corp shines, does he go back to Barkley when he's healthy?

i don't see how USC is overrated. We all knew they would struggle with Barkley at QB, but he has performed better than I expected. How many QBs are going to lead their team on a game winning drive @ the shoe?

What exactly did he do on that GREAT drive ?

He handed the ball to McKnight and then passed it to him a few yards short of the line of scrimmage and then pitched it to him .....

Barkley may some day be a great QB , but after 2 games you can hardly say that.

As I was trying to point out, McKnight won that game, not Barkley.

Another one of my long shots, going out on a limb here and say BYU.

Not sure they win that game against Oklahoma without the injury to the quarterback.

Not saying they are garbage, but I don't know about that top 10's they holding right now in both polls.

How long has it been since USC was underrated??? They are hyped every year.

They are definitely overrated this year.
No...UCS blows through every topped ranked team above them including those in other conferences, every single year. The problem is, they often under perform against the mediocre teams (cough Oregon and Notre Dame), and it is this that usually drops them in their ranking. This has nothing to do with their talent or ability to win, it has to do with their motivation (coaching is partially to blame). With a semi new coaching staff, hopefully this one and only negative will change.

BTW, did anyone see their band get booed at Dodger stadium during the 7th inning stretch? Most Dodger fans are UCLA fans (unlike myself)

He led the team. He made a couple of key passes as well, not to mention the fact that he LED the drive as a freshman QB. USC is underrated at #3 right now, only top 5 team with an impressive win.

Exactly. Everyone thought this would be a payback game, Terrelle Pryor would make his case for Heisman and Ohio St would roll. Didn't happen. Makes no difference what Barkley did himself, although I think he handled himself well for a freshman, but what matters is USC won.

I agree, from a freshman QB, all you want is to play within himself and just try NOT to make mistakes....which is exactly what he did.

Please OSU has history of losing the big game. Usc barely gets by them in this game.

Exactly. The Big10 has become suspect over the last few years due to huge OOC losses in big games. What's so impressive about squeaking by tOSU, who may not even be the best team in the Big10? I'd like to see a few more games played before annointing USC national champions (although I know Trojan fans have come to expect that from the media).

USC better be prepared for Washington Saturday. The Huskies aren't the sam team as last year. Could be one of those "little" games to trip on.

Awful example. BYU was actually winning BEFORE the injury to Bradford. If anything, BYU is underrated.

Not so fast, my friend. OU and many other teams have a history of turning it on in the 2nd half. If Bradford and Gresham had been on the field for the whole game, OU would have won by 20.

I agree, they look ahead too much and the Oregon State game last year was a joke of unprepardness on Carroll's part to plan against the run.

Regarding SC's Band at the Dodgers game, I was at that game and I couldn't believe how many UCLA fans were in the stands.
