NCAA Football 2009-10 Season

I think the reasoning of the current AP poll is that Miami beat FSU who beat BYU and Washington beat USC who beat tOSU so that is why tOSU dropped in the ranking and why Miami surged into the top 10.

Ya and my team beat another team that beat another team last year ........ Thats BS and you all know it.

Miami wins TWO games and moves from somewhere outside the top 25 to 9 ?

What a joke these polls are this year already.
Another reason why lots of people hate schools like them and ND , they win a game and jump from no where to the top while others do thier job and get dissed.

Personally, I thought The U should have been NO HIGHER than 13...MAYBE 11 at best....but definately NOT top ten until AFTER they could win their 1st 4 games.

I know you are talking due to emotion, but The Buckeyes LOST to USC and beat a team that you, me and 10 other guys could have beaten...they were SUPPOSE to beat them 200 to nothing.!

The U jumped from 20 to 9. NOT from outside the top 25....that is a bit of a knee-jerk reaction. I personally think, the huge jump had alot to do with the a$$-whipping FSU gave BYU and USC losing.

exactly! And throw in that they looked impressive winning IN Tallahassee and totally dominated GaTech....two games they were SUPPOSE to lose. EVERYONE thought they would go 1-3 with that schedule.

I think I am all for getting rid of the AP polls .....

Ohio State rolls, D plays great, Offense plays great, they win 38-0 and LOSE 2 SPOTS in the POLLS

This is the biggest piece of BS I have ever seen.

CLEARLY there is a BIAS that they don't want OSU anywhere's near the top 8.

They should have at LEAST moved up to # 9 TWO TOP TEN TEAMS LOST and the number 11 TEAMS wins and DROPS.

What kind of sh*T is that.

Q. What do they have to do to move up with the teams on thier schedule ?

Miami wins TWO games and moves from somewhere outside the top 25 to 9 ?

I agree Jimbeaux. Polls suck and are usually way off.

Could the SEC now have 1 and 3rd?? I still think Ole Miss is the better team then Alabama but we shall see. With BYU Dropping USC dropping that means some big changes in the polls.. My next top Ten.

1. Florida
2. Texas
3. Alabama (Id prefer Ole Miss but they will not jump them)
4. Ole Miss
5. Penn State
6. CAL
7. LSU
8. Boise
9. Ohio State
10. OK Sooners

Dam how could I forget about Miami?

other then that I was pretty dam close. I do beleive USC should be ahead of OSU of course I left that part out to. Miami at number 9 good for them, with their schedule they dam sure deserve to be up there. If they win the next two Bama and ole miss look out they are taking your spots.

I do agree though

Bucks do EVERYTHING they can do WIN convincingly (they were suppose to win by 21, not 200.) The Bucks were DROPPED because USC lost, plain and simple and that's just NOT right.

btw, Toledo is NO SLOUCH, they have a offense in the top 20 I would think and the Bucks shut them down.

The Bucks D shut down USC for 55 minutes, but appearantly that doesn't matter.

Why is Miami rising for games they have not played yet ?
Everyone here is saying if they win these 4 games they should be top 3 but they have only won 2 so far and they are annointing them top 10 already.

With your scenario, OSU can not move in front of USC all year regardless, so IF USC drops even farther, so will OSU ? Even if they get better and win out convincingly ?
If thats the case, any team that has a loss should just stop playing as thier season is clearly over.

I would have put Miami about where you said .... so far.

Your damn right I'm emotional, when you do everything your asked and still drop, thats not right.

OSU and USC could line up for the next 3 weeks and could go either way.
I thought the USC was a GREAT game., it could have gone either way , last years Texas game as well.

The Bucks are getting dumped on because of thier past, even though this is suppose to be a NEW season.

Florida got by Tennessee but not as impressivly as they should have, I bet they don't drop.

Apparently they are not that good because they were shutout. Look, plain and simple....The U's jump had a little bit to do with their win...and ALOT to do with FSU laying the smackdown on BYU. Throw in the fact that The U played a tough opponent that was ranked and laid a a$$ whuppin' on The U last year....that help their big jump.

Look, I agree that they should NOT be in the top 10....but The U should be ranked HIGHER than any team with 1 loss...without a shadow of a doubt....

The USA poll is out and looks a bit more realistic, I thought that they mirrored one another but they didn't.

Toledo does NOT come close to Tennessee.....

I mean really, Bucks fans cannot complain about the Gators barely winning against Tennessee because the Bucks BARELY got by Navy....they NEEDED that 2 point conversion interception to win. EVERYONE's sphincter in the Horse Shoe tighten tighter than a brand new snare drum when Navy scored that TD....

LMAO!! Sorry, but there is NO WAY that all those 1 loss teams should be ahead of Miami. USC lost to an unranked team, Ohio State has beaten NO ONE, Miami BEAT FSU...Oklahoma had there a$$ handed to the by BYU and have beaten NO ONE...Tulsa and Idaho State??!!! Really??!! THEY should be ranked above The U??!! The ONLY team that merits being POSSIBLY ahead of Miami is VaTech because they BEAT one ranked team are the barely lost to the #2 team.

That polls is almost as bad if not worse that the AP poll.:haha:haha:haha

Oh, I wasn't comparing the two teams at all, just pointing out that when other teams win close games they are effected positivly, while the Bucks are not.

The Bucks could have beat USC and it would have raised them into the top 10 and then beat Toledo and they would have at least stayed where they were, possibly moved up seeing 2 others in the top 10 lost ....
I think I'm more concerned that they didn't move into the top 10 because two other teams lost, figuring that the Buck's won soundly you would have expected them to move into one of those spots.
Had USC won and another top 10 team lost, the Bucks would have moved into the top 10, thats where I'm coming from ....it seems like they will be tied to USC all year if this stands, so we can do no better than where USC is, unless they lose again.

Umm, I think your giving them toooo much credit, Florida State is no one yet, they are ranked 20, I don't think Miami should get a lot of credit for beating them.
Yes, I'm glad they did and I was happy when they did, but they are making it sound like Miami has beat the top 3 and they have NOT.

Miami beats Oklahoma and then moves into the top 10, Oklahoma should drop to 15 or so, Ohio State should move up with a win this weekend, but they probably won't.

Miami beat FSU AT FSU....Oklahoma LOST to BYU and though the score did not indicate it....they beat Oklahoma badly AT Oklahoma....and FSU hands BYU their lunch IN Provo....

...and if they played ALL those games ALL over again, we would get the same results.

So in the end, I am giving them credit with what they have done. NONE of those 1 loss teams other than VaTech should be ahead of Miami because they have faced tougher competition so far and beaten them....none of the 1 loss teams can boast that.
