why cant D* broadcast these more often and on more than just 2 channels? I miss them most of the time since they are on during the day on Monday. Why can't they be run on all of the ST channels all week?

I record the owns that I want to see or not download the ones via OnDemand.

There was talk awhile back that they would be d/led to your recorder directly from D*, but that hasn't been the case, so they must have scrapped that idea.

a) get a dvr....its only like what almost the year 2010.
b) they can be downloaded anytime all week from on demand.

speaking of On Demand, what would be the best and/or least expensive way to do this? I have a wireless network in my home already. Running cables from recievers to modem is not ideal (too long, "hiding" the cables, drilling holes etc.) Are the options that D* have on their site comparable in price to other available options? I have 2 HR-21's. One of them is not that close to a wall outlet (using an extention cord).

Get a Gaming Network Adapter that works with a wireless connection via the Ethernet Port. Going to buy for my R22 as my HR-22 sits ten feet from my router.

I have a HD DVR but its full of other junk and I never have a chance to use that TV as the rest of the family is always using it. I would have ordered a 2nd HD DVR if there wasn't an insane $200 upfront charge.

Have you checked via online for your account to see if they've flagged you for a $99 HD DVR offer?

After you logon in the left column there should be a line to "Add Receive", select that and it would show the receivers and pricing. But at only 3 months yea you might not have any deals listed.
