I am considering a GeoSatPro c2 dual c band lnbf. I see that Sadoun is selling them and they are on sale. I searched this site and see that folks are happy with them and they were unavailable in the past.
The reason I want one is because of the dual output to hook into my zinwell so the signal can be accessed from all my receivers.
Are there any thoughts on this lnbf?
I am currently using 2 lnbfs with a dual feedhorn. And currently have some confusion with the H and V and setting up my coolsat receivers as to which one is H and V.
If I were to get the C2 lnbf and hook them to the zinwell 6x8 then to my 1x4 disecq switch will this still work? I have 4 feeds from receivers going out to 1x4 and then to 4 zinwells.
Thanks for any suggestions.

I have 5 of them....3 are in use. Best LNB I worked with (and the dual output helps too ;) )
They work great. Only thing to remember is the skew is 90 degrees off. So 0 skew is 9:00 or 3:00 when you start.

Both outputs use the same polarity so if you hook it up to a multiswitch there is no difference which side you hook it up to (there is no 13v or 18v)

yes it will work fine. The 6x8 works the same as any 4x4 multiswitch and that is how I have some of my setups
4x4 with 99W and 105W
4x4 on the motorized for KU & DBS

diseqc switches on some of the outputs to recievers...works just fine

They are very versatile to use and work really good.

Out of the 6 I owned I only had one go bad....and that was due to the dish falling off the table it was on and the coax end getting crushed against the deck floor (my C-Band dish is on a 30" tall table to clear the roof for line of site)

I bought four of the GeoSatPro c2 dual c band lnbf's when SatelliteAV offered a group buy. I recently installed a 6' dish with this LNBF and was amazed at the really high signal I got with it. The dual output allows me to view programming in two different rooms. Grab em while they are on sale.:up

I have got ku covered with a motorized dish already and 3 stationary ku dishes and really want to make my 7.5 mesh c band work at its best. I may not see a big increase as I put 2 new 13k lnbs on it when I installed this summer but sounds like everyone is very happy with these. We had a very windy night and day a couple days back and went out yesterday and re-tightened a lot of nuts and bolts on my system. I had a lot of loose ones. I installed during the hot days of summer and things had loosened up some.
Waiting for something new to happen on ku so I can move the dish I have on 129 to it. I removed the 6' c band dish I had pointed 91 for the cw nets as Sadoun got me fixed up with a new v3000 so my c band moves finally via the coolsat much better than using the Uniden. I am trying to get a brother in law to set up that 6' stationary true focus on a ring dish so he can get the sportsmans channel. He is crazy about hunting and fishing.

that is a great channel if you are into that
the other channels on that sat arent bad either ;)

3.4 - 4.2GHz is the correct frequency range for the GEOSATpro C1 and C2 LNBFs.

North American FSS range is 3.7 - 4.2GHz, but in most other regions the complete band is used.

Iceberg, when you set one of these up in the receivers (more than one) do you just set the lnb power to ON? and the cables out at the dish like on a 6x8 switch where you have a 13v and 18v you hook up to these just like you would when choosing 13 or 18 in lnb setup? I use all coolsats. thanks.

yes set the LNB power to on

just hook both lines from the LNB to the 13v & 18v on the multiswitch. Doesnt matter which one is where. The receiver will automatically select the right voltage depending on the channel.

I got a CK1 yesterday to replace a BSC421 that died....I'm going to do some checking tonight but I was impressed with the Geosat! It was on 91W Cband and I'd say the signal increased a good 5-10 points on the Fortec 6 footer. Blind

I ordered one from the buy it now on ebay. Saves a few bucks on shipping. It should be here for the weekend. I will do a little tuning on the big dish at that time. We had a real bad wind storm last week and I think that my c band blew off focus a bit. I get everything from south to south west but south east wont come in now. I went out this past weekend and found I could turn some of the bolts a bit and the day after storm I had to re tune a few sats to get them in so must have moved on the pole some.

So when I have my dish at my south sat the zero should be at 9 or 3? right? It came today and setting it up now.
