YouTube Video from Dish

supposed to

> Snuggled up with the lady in the bed keeping warm watching TV
> can feel all the different buttons, as they are shaped differently,
> some are concave, some have little bumps on them

(cough) damn is it getting warm in here or, just me

It's supposed to be warm all snuggled up and everything.

$5 savings is moot after this next price increasing coming. Make that a $5-7 price increase. It is going the other way.

I've have no issues using the remote in the dark. Snuggled up with the lady in the bed keeping warm watching TV with the remote under the covers by my side. I never look at it and can feel all the different buttons, as they are shaped differently, some are concave, some have little bumps on them, the remote was designed specifically for you to press every button without looking. It may have a lot of buttons, but it all depends on if you want to use them or not. I give them an A+ in the remote design on the ones I have with my 722.

I have to give Dish an A+ also even though I would like to see a backlighted Dish remote.;)

We have a big candle on our coffeetable and where I sit on our couch when I had D* RC64RB I had to move the remote to the left or right of the candle to control the TV functions.

With the Dish remote supplied with my Dish 625 I don't have to move the remote to the left or right of the candle,it just works.:)

Folks say that Dish's VOD has "a few titles". The selection pails in comparison to other VOD services I have seen but there are a substantial number of VOD titles available.

Dish VOD FYI:

As of this instant on my 622.
Entertainment Titles available 2489. Of those 771 are free. 63 of the free titles are HD

"Just Added" Titles available 5308. Of those 798 are free. About 80 of the free titles are HD (Hard to tell because the Dish VOD interface STINKS ON ICE!

"Dish Theater" movie titles available 2816. Of those a whopping 27 are free. All 27 free titles are HD

"After Hours" Titles available 599. Of those ZERO are free and ZERO are HD.

I keep seeing ads for this really cheap programming offering Dish has but my bill sure as cain doesn't reflect that. Do a true side by side with normal bills then I'll be impressed. None of that 12 month offer jazz. After the price hike on my 3 year old receiver that has not improved in anyway the advert is a load. Dang that guy can spin. Which is more than I can say for the hard drive on our box.

If you are having problems contact ceo@dishnetwork.com .

Both satellite providers offer that "12 month offer jazz".

If your DVR is having problems Dish should replace it.Good Luck!:)

I totally agree. I have both DirecTV & BellTV. BellTV uses Dish Network hardware and is far more superior, so I would also give Dish the win.

last time I looked my 722 had a small fraction of those numbers, I wonder why?

Bob, it may be dependent on the channels you subscribe to. I have AEP+HD Gold/Platinum so I get all the channels that have on demand programming. If you have AT50 and nothing else you wouldn't get NatGeo or HDNet Movies events among others.

BTW Today the numbers are:

Entertainment - 2539 Total titles of which 821 are free, with 60 of the free titles being HD.
Just Added - 5354 Total titles of which 848 are free, with about 80 free titles in HD
Dish Theater - 2815 total titles of which the same 27 free, HD titles.
After Hours - same as last time.
