Are they still planning on forcing us to get locals? Because as of this morning, even on the new site, I can remove the local programming if I want.

New Dishnetwork Web SIte

I am not having any success navigating past thE "Home" page. I use FireFox and I'm at work (never been a problem before). Also has anyone else had any difficulty with remote access lately? I can schedule recordings but can't access the My DVR Tab. Only care because it is part of what I pay for and i want to work when and if I need it.Ross

I love the new site! "Page Load Error", "Page Load Error", "Page Load Error", "Page Load Error", "Page Load Error", "Page Load Error", "Page Load Error", "Page Load Error"

That's what a lot of unknowing customers are going to be thinking when the site actually does work and see their bills.

This site is not Firefox nor Safari friendly. The pages don't display well or at all. I use 11 major browsers and the biggest problem across the board is that they are all coming up that the DISH servers are over loaded and the pages can't load. I can not get into my account at all nor to the 2010 page. Will probably have to wait for the Christmas rush to subside. Or maybe DISH overbuilt for their servers. Wouldn't surprise me.

Leave it to DISH to finally go Flash intensive when the rest of the World is looking to drop it for HTML5. The Tech Portal is still old school and works just fine on all levels. But I would guess that's only a matter of time.

We have enough folks.. it wouldn't be hard for us to crash it...

They are using Microsoft IIS for their webserver, which does not take a lot to bring down. ;) (And it probably explains why it isn't up now) :D (Because its running Windows... not because of SatelliteGuys!) :)

How true. How true. UNIX! All the way. Why am I not surprised that DISH uses an MS operating system for this crucial interface.

To send E a message:)

E mail the CEO office with complaints

drop system warranty if you still can for free, add it back later when you need it.

Everyone unplug all phone lines

Drop AEP if you were using it to avoid DVR fees:)

I wonder how much E knows about us from our DVR inputs?

They could sell names to businesses.

if you replay a car add, viagara add, miracle ear add, more junk mail could be targeted at your home:(

Iused to laugh at friends concerned about such things but no more.
Greedy E will stick it to anyone:(

E insiders report 1/4 of IT employees gets bounced every year.

Apparently they werent ready for this roll out. Its about as efficent as the 922 software..
