The drift for D12 was approved today, should start next week.

Should put channel launches right on track for late May.

Will these new HD channels also be broadcast in SD. (I have 1 HD DVR and 2 SD DVRs) Can't upgrade yet.

I could see the national channels having an SD feed (example Lifetime), but the premiums??????? I dont know about that one, (opinion) I'm leaning towards no.

Wanted to chime in

I am so happy for the new HD next month! My favorites are going to be showtime Beyond, HBO Zone, and of course ESPNU! Its nice to be with an HD Leader again!

That picture could have been taken during a time when there were few people there to begin with. Looking at the ticket line of the place they set up, it appears that someone took the picture before that place even opened and before people arrived.

Do you mean the press release from 2007--three years ago?....i wouldnt read much into it i guess, I mean hell, three years for that, the ESPNU HD release that said it was suppose to be up by the end of March 2010. Then there was a Hallmark Movie channel HD press release sometime in 08/09 that hasnt happened and now this one for May's rollouts. There is also that 3d press release for June...Take it for what you want as far as press releases go. I'm still mad about ESPNU HD. I am tired of announcements and promises..light the damn channels!!!.....and yes, i know it depends on D12....

Smithsonian IS already on D*, in thier Extra package.
