What about changes in pricing? Any announcement yet?

August 1st is the scheduled date for Programming price increases (Feb 1st, they said "no programming price increase for six months).

So, presumably on August 1st, there will be an increase designed to compensate for the revenue loss due to loss of the $10 charge to customers who do not get Platinum HD.

Where are you getting that... I am not sure I am following...

I do know that Premiums are going up $2 if you subscribe to more then one.

I'm curious if this site is right about espn3d and dish network. They also have the announcement about univision so ? hxxp://www.theamericandishtv.com/blog/fifa-world-cup-2010-in-3d-on-dish-network/ or is it just a scam to order dish through them?

They want to get their hands on as much 3DHD Content they can, yet they cant even offer all the hd channels that are out there now such as HDRSN'S Full time! Come on Dish! 3DTV is a fad that dish is falling in love with. They want to cater to the high end subs, yet show they say they are the best value to attract lower end subs. Don't know about you, but how many lower end subs have 3DTV's. On top of that the high end subs get nickel-ed and dimed to death, especially those w/ multiple HD Dvr's. Im not buying it. Lets fix what's wrong first, and move on to 3DHD then.

I love how charlie and company say that NFL Redzone was the best thing for them and basically "paraphrasing" that they love sports. Yet they cant even offer the basic local sporting packages to there customers. Yea game time RSN's are great, but what if you want to see a local show like sports night that has local HS football, or even highlights of your local teams. Your SOL when it comes to dish. (Directv is not the answer and I don't want to hear that lame excuse as that's what it is an excuse to substitute where dish is weak)

Its like the Taliban saying "oh we don't want to do terrorism anymore, if you want your terrorists acts, go to the KGB for your new terrorism acts" COME ON!

WHAT!!???

Not at all, Bob, not at all....... and you know it.

(You've officially crossed the line and gone off the deep end.)

There is only one site that gives really accurate information... and your at it. :)

I always have my ear to the ground and sharing what I hear with you guys. :D

Thanks for all the updates and up to date news, Scott. As usual. :)

Wish this were in Denver again this year. Any news about where Team Summit will be next year?

If dish actually gets the DLNA stuff up and working on the 922, count me in as getting a much needed 622 upgrade! If I can stream my MythTV videos right to my dish 922, that would be killer feature for me, not to mention sending to ipod for my gf.

I said in another thread long ago that DLNA on the 922 would put it over the top. However, given the state of the 922 in what I read in the support forum, I would say 9 months to a year would be the time to buy a 922.

Luckily, my Xbox 360 does a great job of streaming my media.

Sounds like Dish is leading the way again! Thanks Scott for all the info keep up the good work. :)
