I just switched to auto pay to get the HD discount. My first bill on auto pay was $15.00 lower instead of the $10.00 I thought it was going to go down. I am glad I switched to auto pay.

Sorry, no offense to anyone, But Scott, and Claude is the only one I would trust with this Private information.
They are the ONLY two that has a proven backround, By Proven a mean a legitimate website. And legitimate Businesses.

There's ways to do things , and there is ways not to do things.

You can get as mad as you want Stone, and be as childish about it as you want, But I'm sure MANY people have the same feeling about Posting account info and Phone Numbers to people we've Never met ,As I do on the subject.

I'm just trying to answer a question you asked about why people won't directly ask for your help with account issues.

If your legit , well then prove it. Get together with Scott and make this a section on Satellite guys, with your credentials.

If your On the D* support forums, then Direct us over there, so our account issues can be handled by you in a professional manner.

when i left dish after 8 years they treated me o'k.I send back the receivers and now i 'm waiting on refunds. I HAD NO TROUBLES WITH DIREC SO FAR THEY EVEN CALL ME AND TOLD ME THEY MADE A MISTAKE ON MY BILL THIS MONTH AND THE REBATE WOULD SHOW UP ON NEXT MONTH BILL . WHEN DIREC TECH INSTALL MY EQUIPMENT I MADE SURE IT WAS THE HR24 IF NOT HE COULD CARRY BACK WITH HIM. MADE SURE YOU ARE SATASFIED BEFORE YOU SIGNED OFF ON IT.
 
there was an issue with some bills this month . should be corrected on next month bill. but if you like I be more then willing to look at your account to see what happened.

We had an error with credits not applying to accounts .

for people who had bill cycle dates between 7/18 to 7/21

Where there credits did not post.

Engineers fixed the issue credits for July bill will show up on august statement.

Now I can understand about being upset about them the credit not being there.


Unless they say something a little more helpful. Like oh I am missing a free hd for life credit or I am double billed for hd or my 29 dollar rebate is not there. I can give them a better answer. But generic rants get generic answers unfortunately.
 
Maybe I'm naive, but I don't think that many of these CSR's blatently lie to customers. Perhaps that's inacurrate but in the few times that I've talked to CSR's, I have gotten the feeling that the main issue is a lack of information or perhaps incomplete training.

If I get a CSR that I may not be comfortable with, I just end the call and call the 800# again a few minutes later. I've had to do that once and I had no problems with my 2d CSR. I have found that exercising patience and curteousy will certainly help you in your conversation with a CSR.

I can say this for a fact: It pays for any DirecTV customer to visit this forum before making a call to the CSR. Chances are that you'll either find your answer here or at the least, be prepared with accurate info before talking to the CSR. I know that this strategy paid off for me last year when I had an issue with not receiving my MLB games on the 700's.

Dish Network CSR's are programmed to lie and Draw out what ever process that will make more money off you while your trying to leave.:rant:

Now on my credentials I be more then happy to supply them to scott I have no issue in that . But I am not posting them here Scott can verify my information and not post it here the hold point is that company offical stance is they have dtv.com support forums on there own site and feel other then dbstalk further affilations are not needed.

Simple answer to everything and the bottom line is this after scott checks me out which again i have no issue doing then I dont want ot hear a peep out of you on this subject. Fair enough?

Scott can't help you with an accounting problem with D*.
Claude may be able to NOW, but he just NOW got into D* side of things.

Have you EVER got any useful info from the D forums site ?
They offered to invite us and then decided we weren't good enough for them ....

Your confronting a member about not coming to you directly for billing account issues, Well He doesn't know you, for all he know you could just be a former employee with access to D* customers personal accounts.

Heres the deal

I talk to everyone here as I would talk to my friend. Not the way I would talk to a customer with yes maam and no sir etc. I feel it personify Directv a little. That there a regular every guy who works for them and willing to here about customer issues on his time off.


I understand Hemi concern, and I appericate it even though with Hemi I simply follow the DTA rule with him as I really dont think he likes me enough just to let the op which I have not seen post back say. Its just hemi's opinion of me.

Hemi never answer my question I just pm scott so I can sit down with him and verify my info. But Hemi would not answer me when I asked him if Scott oked me would he just drop this attack on me. He never answered , Jason, GoalieBob and other staff and given me there info and I talked to a few of them like bob. and I am going to sit down and show scott but that wont matter to you hemi as that will not end your mini war against me. You dont like my personality so you go on the attack.

Sorry honestly, I had a feeling but I just never put 2 and 2 together.

To be honest if there was a lot of people i might be offended but it hemi and I am willing to sit down with scott and proove my employee status so it not an issue to me it will only be for hemi who will find some other reason to not "trust" me.
