DirecTV Advertising HD Channels That Don’t Exist

So I was unpacking my new Sony Blu Ray Player last night and noticed some DirecTV literature, I went to take a look at it and immediately noticed they are advertising Chiller HD and MTV 2 HD, two HD channels that have not launched yet. Chiller HD was supposed to be launched 5 different times over the past 2 years and there has been no mention of MTV 2 HD.

They need to put VH1 Classic (the only MTV channel worth watching) in HD before MTV2.

Those were likely going to launch on a specific date. Directv jumped the gun by including them in their advertising.

DIRECTV advertising has always had conflicts with reality. I sometimes wonder if they've been instructed to loft weather balloons like these to see if they get a reaction. I can't imagine that anyone has otherwise given them artwork for these logos.

Also be aware that Chiller is not the same channel it was when introduced. They have forsaken monster movies and most of the classic TV shows.

well i sure as heck cant get no hd locals, they will give me the sd local channels, but no hd local channels, go figure? and the sd local channels look like analog especially the pbs national feed

mine 2, i think he is big, and there are ways around the IP address banning.

If it's the same troller, he'll get banned again, and again, and again. I guess we've all seen trollers at forums 'net-wide. Different mentality, sort of a "bully hiding behind the keyboard" strategy.

hmm....like posting that you get RSN's in HD (with no restrictions) when its part time....maybe....well we dont know if it will be in HD or not.....yeah lets use that answer
