Charlie is really missing the boat here. He says 3D isn't ready, but it looks pretty good to me. Perhaps the problem is E* hardware or he doesn't want to sacrifice the bandwidth for a small number of users (sounds like the start of HD). But then for some silly reason the PPV is 50% the cost of the Blu-Ray purchase. Should he really be surprised if no one jumps.

I have both providers, since I got the HR24 (& jumped back in to a 2 year commitment) I've been watching more Directv, the bulk of has been the Distants in HD which I was grandfathered with but will likely watch Directv for much of the next week for the 3D ... examples of the guide from yesterday afternoon & my Dvr list (2 HD the rest 3D programs...)

3Net's been getting a lot of DVR time with me, too. Great channel so far. Can't wait for some of the Sony movies to start hitting. Loved Walking on the Moon. I'll probably watch Bugs! A Rain Forest Adventure today.

You have DirecTV too though and get other channels in HD that I don't (like Shobeyond *envy*).

Wonder if Robin Hood will be the Director's Cut? Probably not, but one can always hope...

Been archiving more 3D than anything on Directv, have to go set some timers for stuff I just came across (could do it online but I need to change cables for my CSI Miami Drive )
