New Lineup Coming May 4th!

I posted the links to the line ups above. The main difference in numbers comes from the Clear Channel stations, which are only on XM.

Sirius exclusive channels include their 11 Canadian channels, NPR Talk, C-SPAN Radio and EWTN Radio. XM exclusive channels are their 10 Canadian channels, 11 Clear Channel stations, PRX, Pop2K, The Groove, The Village, Cinemagic, and MLB Play By Play.

I wish XM would put Rock at Random back up. They have since replaced it with Nikki Sixx's station. Rock at Random actually had a large music library and played a wider variety of rock than any of the other rock stations. It was sort of like Classic Vinyl, Classic Rewind, Boneyard, and Lithium combined

Since then, Rock@Random does not repeat songs too frequently, and does not play the same songs in the same order. It provides a great variety of rock music that is safe for public places because to the editing of profanity. The range of music is from Iron Maiden to Bob Seger, Judas Priest to Pink Floyd, Nirvana to Fleetwood Mac. The station is listed with a "CM" logo, which means the station includes commercials. dont let this scare you away, as there is never more than one or two per hour. This station is a hidden gem because only XM (NOT Sirius) subscribers can get it, and not too many XM subscribers know it exists due to its dial position being 161, whereas all the other rock stations are in the 40s and 50s range.
On February 22, 2011: Rock@Random was replaced on XM channel 161 by Sixx Sense.

That channel was not programed by XM it was programmed by Clear Channel.

I do wish Clear Channel would bring it back and it was a decent station the way it was.

I listened to Rock at Random more than any other music station on XM. I was very disappointed when they replaced it with Sixx Sense (and I am a Motley Crue fan).

This is going to be fun come Wednesday for every user that leaves home and finds their channels have changed and trying to reprogram them on the way in to work. :(

any idea if live play-by-play of all mlb games is going away?

Why would you think that? On the XM Lineup, channels 176-189 are clearly marked MLB Play By Play with 175 being the Spanish MLB channel and 89 being MLB Network Radio. XMs contract with the MLB runs through the 2012 season with an option to renew for a 3 year extention.

As others have said, they are not. But the day they do is the day I definitely cancel XM. MLB is pretty much the only reason I have put up with all of their crap since I have had them (or since Sirius ruined XM when they bought them)

So they are moving thern MLB Network channel AWAY from the games channel ?
Thats REAL consolidating things ...

This will be interesting, MANY of the games are normally ON 175 MLB Network, NOW we'll have to go all the way down to 89 to see what game might be there while the rest are still at 176-189 ?

I think 174 was the Spanish channel, 175 has always been the biggest game of the day for the most part and MLB N during the day.

When will channels like NHL Home Ice be available in the regular ala carte package (not the Gold)? And will we ever be able to get Canada 360 on Sirius (it's only on XM now)?

I told my uncle that they are dropping his favorite channel and it is okay because he said I can cancel the service May 5th. I hope they don't give me a hassle to cancel.

Like I said I use to love XM with it's variety and deep playlists until they had to approve the merger and I knew Sirius would ruin it. The 80s channel playlist is so tiny and repetitive I can't even listen to it for 10 minutes with it's same songs and annoying VJs.

One last minute change as EnLighten gains a temporary reprieve from its move to Internet Only status. The channel will remain on the Channel 18 slot reserved for Limited Engagement channels.

New SiriusXM Channel Lineup – RadioInsight

Well my radio was a mess this morning. Some of the channels are in the correct spot, but I have about 20 channels (that seem to be in no particular order) that are at the end of all the other channels in the all channels list. Also Hits 1 shows on channel 001 and channel 002. My favorites did NOT update and I will have to reprogam those. For reference this is on a BMW Sirius factory installed radio. I left it alone for my 20 min drive to work, but didn't seem to update. Maybe it will fix itself on the way home...
