For all of you who still think that Dish has few or no HD feeds on Center Ice here are some facts for you.
I was checking out Fridays and Saturdays hockey lineup and found that ALL of the teams had At LEAST 1 HD feed and 8 had two feeds.
This is,of course, not including the VS feed.:)

but you wont have any MSG or MSG+ feeds...there is 4 teams right there you're missing
This is true but since I am in Cincinnati I can still pick up the feeds from any of those teams which are playing those far east teams.
But the real purpose of my post was to point out that there a LOT more HD feeds then a lot of other posters are willing to admit too
for some reason, dislike for Dish or uninformed perhaps.

no dislike for dish but just based on facts, Since Dish doesnt carry RSN's in HD 24/7 its unknown if those games shown in the guide will truly be in HD for the whole game, parts of it or none.
Check the Dish forum. You'll see plenty of threads on Dish forgetting to turn on the HD feed for games for part or all of the game or not using the HD feed at all. Dish always says its a bandwidth issue but this time of year it shouldnt be an issue. No MLB games on the RSN's and NBA locked out the only thing they need them for is for NHL game.

So just because it shows in the guide as "HD" you cant be too sure until game time

Well it was NOT like that last year.
I will update after Friday & Saturday's games.

As far as center Ice & HD goes, except for the Maple Leafs,NHL Center Ice doesn't carry Canadian teams' home broadcasts(Rogers Sportsnet,TSN,CBC) in HD. It doesn't matter which provider(Dish/DIRECTV/Comcast/etc.) is carrying NHL CI. At least that's how it's been the past two seasons.

When those games are on NHL Network they are in HD.
The lack of HD on CI for Canadian teams has been forever not just the last two years.

According to this years indemand website, on the hd schedule there are some games on spnet being provided in hd. Now whether you get the Frogs actual home broadcast or not, who cares!!!! They will be chasing Ottawa for last place anyways!!!

well since both have a freeview (and I have both) I'll compare for ya ;)
No need to. You just need to look at the schedules and you can see that DirecTV has more games in HD, and more dual live feeds in SD and HD

DIRECTV: Sports : NHL CENTER ICE : Schedules

NHL Center Ice - Watch NHL Center Ice on Satellite TV - DISH Network

Today alone, Dish is showing 9 feeds, 7 in HD. 4 dual live feeds in SD and 3 in HD, and only 4 of the 5 total games are in HD. While Direct is showing 10 feeds, 9 in HD, 9 dual live feeds, and 8 in HD. All 5 games are in HD.

Tomorrow, Direct shows everything in HD, all 23 feeds. Dish shows 19 feeds and 18 in HD

I was just over on the other site and those Direct users there were complaining that the Canadian feeds that were showing up as HD in the guide were in fact NOT in HD.
So you need to see what is really on.

CBC feeds wont be in HD. In fact most Canadian feeds wont be in HD (RSN Ontario the exception)

The guide said it was in HD up to about an hour before game time then it disappeared
