what channel will the alabama pay for view game will be on?

alabama crimson tide football tomorrow will be on pay for view.

because its a PPV game there is usually a HD version

I see reports of it on DirecTV PPV 787(-1)

Bama site confirms it

The University of Alabama and Crimson Tide Sports Marketing will televise Alabama's football game against Georgia Southern this Saturday, November 19, live in HD via pay-per-view. Game time is set for 1 p.m. Central Time (2 p.m. Eastern) from Bryant-Denny Stadium.

The pay-per-view telecasts will be available on participating cable systems in Alabama, as well as DirecTV (Channel 787) and Dish (Channel 464) satellite television in Alabama and Georgia, in addition to being available via ESPN Game Plan, allowing fans the option to watch a game they otherwise would not be able to see on television.

They used c-band 95W for years on PPV games, but I don't recall seeing any in the last 3-4yrs. It was always in Videocipher scrambling.

not really...and its because its a PPV game....same with Florida

If you subscribe to Game plan you get the Bama game on 793 in SD.....EXCEPT
If you live in Alabama or Georgia you would be blacked out....you have to pay for it and get it on 787 & 787-1 (the guide doesnt show 787 yet but it will)

same with Florida game...its on 792 for GP but 786-1 for PPV

Sadly we cannot buy the HD versions if we are outside of the PPV area

I've never had GP ....

I thought about it awhile back, then looked at scheduling and found very few games that I wanted/needed to see were on GP.

I don't want to admit it but Georgia Southern is my local/future college, and they have no chance. Have no idea how they managed to schedule a game of this calliber?

I see this game is blacked out on Espn3 for Georgia? Will this be avaiable to watch for Georgia residents on College Gameplan? I assuming this only telecast available?

alabama need to win big today since oklahoma state got beat last night. georgia southern has a good team. i remember when coach russell was the head coach.i guess they still play in division two.they make 750000 today for playing bama.
