I was on online chat for an equipment issue, and I made a joke to the agent about how unfair it is that Dish Latino subs get free Playboy and I don't.

Without missing a beat he said: I can get you 3 months free Playboy.

I refreshed my online account screen and there it was. Seems like an official offer ongoing right now.

Not that Playboy is a great channel (it is not even in HD), but hey ... it's free!

Thought I would post here in case anybody is interested!

They aren't promoting it nationally as far as we know but even if they did, what is wrong with it? It's not like Direct doesn't have a full page on their website devoted to adult programming. You can get it through cable also. Plus I think they all run free "Skin-a-max" from time to time. One man's "trash" is another man's (or woman's) treasure.

Glad we live in a country where we can decide what type of programming we want to allow in our homes and if it's offensive to us, we can not allow it. And if we like it, then we don't have to worry about closed-minded people deciding for us (for the most part, anyway).

Sorry, but the post I just quoted reeks of trolling. It was totally uncalled for and not necessary in the least. Just another cheap shot attempt.

Do they actually show any more than Skinemax? Isn't it mostly lifestyle stuff, interviews, shows about the clubs and mansions?

And doesn't DirecTV have similar offerings, as posted above, no doubt with "stealth" promos also?
