Sounds like you have the LNBF hooked up by the wrong port. There are four ports on that LNB. two are marked "L" linear and two marked "C" circular. Make sure you are using a "C" port and the lo is set to 11250 for circular channels.

I definitely have it hooked up to a "C" port. I even tried using the other "C" port, but the results are the same. I also have the receiver LNB frequency set to 11250, as you can see in one of my first posts on this thread (in the picture). I am thinking that my new Invacom QPH-031 is not working properly with circular. Is there any explanation for the 500 MHZ difference?? I don't understand why it's doing that.
 
If a TP is logging in at 13150, this is an issue with the receiver. What is the channel name(s) that scanned at 13150mhz?

I can't remember the channel name. But let me give you an example... I scanned Ciel 2 @ 129W, and all that scanned in were the local scrambled spot beam channels. Of course, I can already pick these up with my linear LNB anyways since these are so strong. The actual frequency of these channels is 12224 MHZ according to Lyngsat, but the receiver scans these and displays the frequency as 12724 MHZ... that's a +500 MHZ difference. Keep in mind the LNB is a standard 10750/11250... so the difference between the operating LNB frequencies is 500 MHZ. I can't seem to scan any circular channels that AREN'T powerful. The only ones I can receive are the powerful spot beams ones.

Let me also note that I'm using a diseqc 2x1 switch. The circular coax is going into the 22 KHZ and the linear the going into the 0 KHZ. On the receiver antenna settings, the circular satellites have 22 KHZ turned on, the linear satellites have 22 KHZ turned off.

As I suggested in an earlier post, bypass the switch and direct connect to the circular side only. If the switch is labeled 0khz and 22khz, it is a 22khz 2x1 switch, not a DiSEqC switch. The switch may be defective, but I would suggest figuring out one thing at a time.

To trouble shoot, make the connection as simple as possible. Also, scan and report some of the frequencies and associated channel names.

Thanks for the advice SatelliteAV. I tried it, and it worked. I hooked the coax directly to the LNB, and everything is working fine with the receiver. It's scanning a few circular channels ITC on 119W... just a bunch of Dish Network promo channels, and it's showing the correct frequency too. So what could the issue be?? I don't want to have to install a second cable from the roof to my TV. Is my 22 KHZ switch not working? I bought it from eBay, and the item description is... 2x1 DiSEqC 22 KHz Tone Satellite Multi Switch 0/22.

I may be wrong, but I thought a 'Sw-21k' switch is an aftermarket old-school Dish sw-21 switch? If so, it's the wrong one as fta receivers can't properly switch these. You want a plain 0/22k switch
 
The sellers info on that switch is so bad, I don't know what he's selling.
I'll agree to *looks* like a stock 22khz switch, but ...
if he can't be more clear, then I can't even trust his picture.
 
The SW-21K switch may be the wrong one... that's exactly what it says on the product. I thought it was just a regular 0/22k switch. Where can I get a regular one that works??
 
I prefer 4x1 DisEqC switches personally, but you can't go wrong with the Ecoda 22k switch Brian sells, as long as you don't have to switch more than 2 things, or a universal lnb. They are the best ones out there for simple switching.

Just remember, don't EVER hook up switches while there is power in the circuit!
 
SatelliteAV, I got the 22 khz switch I bought from you. I installed it today, and I know it's working because I tried it on my Traxis DBS4000 receiver with nice results. BUT, when I hook up my Openbox S10 receiver... no circular signals!!! just linear. I'm wondering if my S10 is having problems with the 22 khz.

Maybe try looping through the DBS4000 to the Openbox and check out a circular transponder.

Might be defective or bad firmware on the S10 if the DBS4000 controls the switch.

You're right... it was bad firmware. I downloaded a newer version, and everything is working fine now. I'm receiving both circular and linear channels. Thanks.
