2013 NFL Playoffs/Super Bowl

Congrats to the Broncos on a great season, and to Peyton coming back from a very serious injury and playing at a very high level.

That said, forgive me if it seems like I'm kicking a man when he's down, but IMO this has to be said NOW: can the media PLEASE put an end to the Brady and Manning comparison....because sorry, there isn't any. What happened in overtime tonight, I've seen too many times for it to be a coincidence.......Brady is simply better than Manning.

And sorry Peyton, but if I have to win one game, I'd take your brother in a heartbeat.

But don't get me wrong, Peyton is still one of the five best to ever play the game....nothing wrong with that.

Great game going on at The Stick...........21-14 Niners with 4 minutes left in the first half.

IMO, if SF wins this game, the Super Bowl will be the Patriots to lose.

I agree...I would compare Peyton to Archie long before I would ever consider comparing him to Tom Brady. There is no comparison IMO. While I would certainly place Brady in my Top 5, Manning would make my Top 20...just ahead of Dan Marino and Jim Kelly.

And the next one made up for it ....

Who the HEii is calling the D for the Bronco's today ?

Giving up 35 points against the Ravens is pathetic.

This. Game. Is. OFF. The. CHARTS!!!!

Fantastic game. Ravens earned this one. Denver D was bad. You cant give up a TD with 40 seconds to go in regulation. That game was yours to win. As far as Manning, he should've thrown it away. He looked hurried on that play. Just get rid of it. Rice played his but off. Flacco played great and Anquain Boldin made some good plays. Give credit to both teams. They were tired, they were cold but to me, I cant say that the Ravens were the better team because the Broncos gave it there all as well.

Well, at I see Moe, Larry and Curly tossing out another bad flag.

I didnt mind the officating. When you have a game like this, you have to be very sure and extra careful on the calls.

oh well. ravens earned it.....

ravens vs pats again?? Yuck...

Ravens did earn it but I too, am sick of Pats/Ravens if that happens. Ravens/Texans isnt that appealing either.

I think Peyton is still a great qb. Granted he didnt win today but Brady hasnt won in his last 2 Super Bowls. I think Brady is a little better than Peyton but Peyton is still a very good qb. Do I think hes better than Eli? Right now, no he isn't .

Btw, is it just me getting old or are you sick of hearing about Ray Lewis as I am?

During the season people were predicting a Manning Brothers Super Bowl in New Orleans, well I predict that two brothers will be facing off against each other in New Orleans, but it will be the Harbaugh Brothers facing off against each other. I also predict that Joe Flacco will finally break through the glass ceiling into the "Great/Elite" status of QB's(Tom Brady,Ben Roethlesberger,Peyton Manning,Eli Manning,Drew Brees,Aaron Rodgers.......Tony Romo, just kidding on the last name).

Why don't you just wait until the Super Bowl is over to make your predictions, then it will be exact. ;)

What's his record in the playoffs? It's not great.

Here we go, these don't reflect this years playoffs...

Tom Brady in the playoffs is 16-6 with five Superbowl appearances and three wins.

Ben Roethlisberger in the playoffs is 10-4 with three Superbowl appearances and two wins.

Eli Manning in the playoffs is 8-3 with two Superbowl appearances and two wins.

Peyton Manning in the playoffs is 9-10 with two Superbowl appearances and one win.

Now granted Eli started his playoff run in 1999, two years before Brady so he has more appearances but he still has a losing record in the playoffs. IMO he isn't elite in the playoffs.

And where is Big Ben this weekend? Oh yeah, sittin' on his fat ass watching the games. just like you!

And I guess Eli is the most ELITE, since he has a 100% winning SuperBowl record, eh?
