Will the Miami Marlins do it?

Will the 2013 Marlins outdraw the 2001 Expos (Expos drew 642,745 that year)?

Stanton just went down for a while. They won't win many without him.

They won 2 out of 3 from the Mets. But you are right...they won't.

When I went to that Saturday game the Reds played them, during batting practice he was crushing the ball out of the park and it was cold that day.

He is a MONSTER, but nothing to protect him infront of him or behind him in the line-up. I think once they get Morrison he will do MUCH better. BUT, he is not due to come off the DL for another 2 or 3 weeks after his 2nd knee operation:(

well I guess they wont be breaking the record
after 25 games the "attendance" has been 443279...so I guess they will beat that at least

Thats avg. 17,700 a game, much better than I expected.
However, with thier winning ways, attendance could/should drop off considerable as the year goes on.
So, the figured mentioned in the beginning of the thread MAY stand.

We'll have to keep and eye on it, say at the all start break.

OK...now that Stanton is hitting balls to other zip codes and Morrison is back and there IS some promise to some of the rookies. I think the Marlins will do BETTER than the 55 wins. And SPEAKING of the Mets, the Marlins are only 3 games behind them.

uh oh...

Mets attendance as of today 975,462 (10th of 15)
Marlins attendance as of today 624,145 (15th of 15)

Meanwhile the Brewers who are 6 games ahead of the Marlins have drawn 1,112,003 (7th of 15)
