DISH Reaches Long Term Agreement with DISNEY / ESPN / ABC

Whenever college football regular season ends, that is when they will reach an agreement. On the plus side, some of the bowl games may be in HD on the U.

I wish it was before next Saturday because Iowa State is playing Baylor on the U. Might be for the best because I don't hold out much hope for this game for ISU.

Well said. I miss having SNY after the couple seasons I did. The state of the Mets made giving it up easier for sure, but I still miss the banter of Gary, Keith and Ron. Thought they made an excellent broadcast team. Also used to get a kick out of the Loudmouths sports talk program, too.
What are the mets a golf team.

well after college football season is over the clamor for ESPN-U HD will disapeer..good ol charlie knows and is counting on this fact..If he truly had his customers best interest at heart he would be honest and allow those who seriously need that channel out of contract so that they can move to another provider that caters to the customer rather than trying to squeeze every penny out of them by not providing services that EVERY other provider has

According to a few published reports only a few months. It has also been reported that the last time they took almost a year for ESPN negotiations. So these ones could last for awhile.

Havent they been working on it since the beginning of the year? This is just goofy.

I do agree with your sentiment but,we have to realize that both Dish and Disney are constantly in negotiation with other providers, and networks. It's a never ending cycle.Just the ones I have read about here,Dish has been negotiating with at least 3 this month alone, probably others we haven't heard about.

Sorry, but I call BS. ESPN U has never been in HD on Dish. If it was that important to a customer, he/she should have done their homework ahead of time.

I want espn u hd as much as the next guy but if the u diehards have to wait and not have hd for next college football season they could go crazy haha

Its been 4yrs since the HD feeds were pulled by Disney, if it was really that important they would have another provider by now. Espnu HD was on Dish, I believe (im probably wrong) when disney pulled the feeds in 2009.

Again, I'll repeat. ESPN U was never in HD on Dish. So no one ever subbed to Dish because they thought they would get that as part of the deal.
