Its been argued to death on the site and in private areas (like the staff area when I was staff) and was told by the owner "well it brings in visitors". But if I have to click on a title to click on a link to dslreports....why wouldnt I just go to DSL reports?
Please explain to me how the rampant info posts bring in visitors.:what

You shouldn't have to. You see how many shows there are ? Plus, will you only do the ones you like/watch, popular shows ?
I will be taking care of all the network shows until they start migrating automatically. I usually do them on Saturday morning. I'm going to go through them this weekend and make sure everything is updated. I've been busy this week, and some of the new shows hadn't been added yet, or the premiere episodes haven't been added.

As Scott and Don can confirm, I wasn't exactly keen on the idea at first. I thought about it, tried it, and I think it will be a great place to talk about the episodes and show.

Did you miss Scott's post ? He's already losing interest in the idea based on the plug-in not working properly. Without that plug-in, there's no reason for the alternate forums.

I agree. If someone really really wants that info, they'll look it up.

It was nice to have it posted, but not absolutely needed.

Personally I´m perfectly fine with the old forum, and I like it better, I tried to update some shows, but sometimes teachsac would beat me to it. ;)

ditto

perhaps we can just post a poll on what format to keep, have voting open for a week, and get rid of the duplicate (or keep), and be done with it.

Nah no need. :)

Your voices have been heard. I actually wanted to do something this weekend but didn't have the time.

Stay Tuned. :D

Again your voice has been heard. We wanted to try something new, and unfortunately it did not work like we expected it to.

The old configuration has returned.

In addition we are adding a new forum for Television News Links, this is a forum where all links to TV Network and Show news for outside SatelliteGuys to go. No links should be posted in the network forums themselves. This will allow those who don't want to know things to be possibly spoiled by the news links. In addition we have setup this forum so that Google and other spiders do not index that forum.

Now we have the best of everything, thanks to your suggestions and comments!
