Just got a reply from WVUE and their owners and Raycom have no knowledge about the swap deal with WOFL...

well DUH! Do you really think they are going to tell you anything on a rumour?
It says "Fox wants to trade WOFL in Orlando to get WVUE in New Orleans."

Its no different than when someone posts a rumor. Other than a couple people (I highly doubt you got an e-mail back from Tom Benson) nobody else knows what is going on and its "business as usual"

Dealing with anything owned by Benson you never know. At least I got a quick response. That other dumb channel that could get swallowed up by nexstar i couldn't get a response on anything, period. Its like Well DUH....I guess it would be cool to have an o&o from on of the big 4, like in the twin cities....we'll see in Due Time

Thanks Ice...I almost like you better as an OTA guy. Satellite has really become stale with new content and OTA remains interesting. I'll look forward to H&I in November in Phoenix. Probably a lot more comfortable here in November than it will be over there Looking forward to Hunter, but could use a little Jake and the Fatman if anyone can bring that one back to air.

I've had it since July 1st and absolutely love the channel (KDCG 22.1 and KLWB 50.2), I actually watch H&I more than Me, Antenna and if you still have that miserable Movie Channel, the first diginet (THIS). Some of you that live in or nearby the larger cities/Major Market O&O's might find this as one of your favorite in a couple months...

Usually you get the new diginets on FTA Sat before OTA. On Sat you also get the alternate versions of the diginet channels too, that you OTA guys will never see. We don't have to wait for the diginets to become available in our town as with OTA. H&I Alternate channel was actually way better than the main channel, but it went away recently.

So I have to disagree if you meant FTA Sat, there is actually more subchannel excitement and availability on Sat then OTA in a single market. Here is a list off the top of my head, I may have left a few out:
