I don't think the affiliates truncated the show. Problem was that the DVRs were all set to quit recording at the hour (or plus 1 minute in my case)

Yeah, I expect that a bunch of them will be bumped up for the rest of the election season. No big deal in these days of 6 tuner DVRs

Just got the email from Serial.com that Agent Carter will "most likely" be cancelled at the end of season 2. Supposedly Hayley Atwell has been cast as lead in another ABC show coming soon. They said that she might play in both shows, since they are both limited series, but no decision yet to the final disposition of her current show.

Agent Carter has first position in her contract so if its renewed they will work around her schedule for it. Both shows are ABC productions so not a big deal if it happens. I prefer these shorter 8-10 episode seasons/series. I wish they would do more of them.

This show deserves to be cancelled for that stupid song & dance dream sequence alone.
Edit: Good grief, is there a purpose to this? I'm ready to fast forward to get away from this nonsense. I hope this doesn't last the whole hour. They even have the pro dancers from Dancing With the Stars, I'm ashamed that I even know that. I must be a masochist to keep watching this.

Oh, THANK GOD it's finally over. As my nephew said to me, Marvels Agent Carter & Dancing With the Stars is the one crossover we DIDN'T want to see.

So?. Did not bother to put a stopwatch on it. Not near as painful as you inferred.

EDIT: Was not painful at all. Watched it again. The lyrics have a lot to do with the story-line.

I went with Peg's Knocked-Out Musical Fantasy, liked it, and felt that it gave the cast a chance to play with the characters. And, if this is the last season for Agent Carter, makes a nice little thank you gift for the fans.

Regarding the time-shift, maybe that was a local affiliate decision. Here we had Weather Warnings, so I'll go back on my AppleTV to re-watch this sans shifts and overlays. I'll likely need to do the same tonight due to the blizzard outside.
