How come sometimes I can watch things on my RSN on my phone using the app, and other times the RSN doesn't show in the guide on my phone?

Lately it's been missing more than it shows.

I am in India right now which probably doesn't help but I was experiencing the same thing before I left the US too a week or so ago.
 
I have seen the same thing. I uninstalled the app and re-installed a few days ago and, knock on wood, RSNs are showing. I have noticed that if you set it up on your home network, it works much better. Sorry I don't have anything better to add...
 
It has to do with the mobile dvr content versus content coming from directv's servers. The content coming form your DVR (channels or playlist) will take longer to show up in the app after loading. In a situation where there is trouble connecting to your home network, they will not show up at all.

I have had issue connecting to the Mobile DVR portion, everytime I try, it doesn't find me even though I'm on my home network. It says to put in Seriel number if that doesn't work, no luck there either.
