Well, now that its another potential download tonight, I see I now have my Logos in the guide .... may have been there a few days ago, I haven't been watching much TV of late.

I also got my logos and HD graphics back this morning. But as of now (6:21 pm) they are gone again. I still have posters and on-demand.

I set up the series recording for the Good Doctor like we talked about a while back. I see that it did record from the channel I asked it to, not the lowest numbered ABC affiliate. Maybe that is something that has been fixed. It filled in the first episodes from ABC VOD in HD 1080p.

Looks like my OD is also working ...
Personally, I'm disappointed in the D* OD selections, you don't get everything like you do with some providers.

I was brave and downloaded FEB. As expected, it killed my series manager, links, and many of my recordings. The loss of recordings was pretty extensive, and includes things from well before downloading the new interface. I got logos back, too, and some of the on demand works. Some channels give the "not available" message though.

I am setting up all my series again. They need to get rid of the Audience remaps on 71 and 101 because it's messing with the recordings. I record "The Dan Patrick Show" from Audience every day. I don't have 71 and 101 in my favorites list because it looks messy and cluttered to me. I go to ch 239 and press R on the DP Show twice and the orange record icon appears in the guide. If I wait just a few seconds, the record icon disappears. If I go to all channels, I see that it is scheduled to record on ch 71 only. This could be very confusing to the average user. The same thing happens if I set up something on HBO but not on ch 501, it defaults back to 501.

When I go to ch 206 to set up recordings for Around the Horn and PTI, I can watch the record icon appear on all the re-airs on ch 207 and ch 209 because they don't differentiate because the different episodes in the guide so, even on First Run only, it is grabbing all the re-airs. I have the national feed of NBC on ch 392 so I like to record from that. I can't anymore, my recording for "Superstore" went from ch 392 NBCeHD to ch 5-1 WPTZDT from the AM21 instead, the lowest numbered NBC I have.

I don't like this. I want to choose like we used to be able to. There are some recordings I want on a specific channel. I would never record a series on an AM21 channel because it takes up more space on the hard drive.

So far, shows like NCIS that have new episodes on a local but also has syndication on another local or cable channel are working ok. Since those shows have S/E info, it records only the new episodes on the locals.

Despite what fanboys say, I know other providers have different on-demand offerings than we do. Some channels we have more but on most channels other providers have more than we do. Like if you look up Superstore on-demand, there are only 3 episodes available. At my parents with Xfinity, you can watch the entire series. (That could be because it is an NBC show and hence Xfinity would have it all.)

I've never heard anyone say Directv's on demand is good.

It has started. It will take about 3 months to hit everyone

I’m surprised it’s rolling out now since there seems to be some bugs in it unless they fixed them . Like how when you record a series it was recording from any channel it was on. The guide font was too small and hard to see. Logos were too small as well.

I am sure as the roll out goes there will be incremental updates to that as well

The "all channels" recording is still a thing. I don't think it's a bug, I think they meant for it to do that.
The guide font is too small? It appears to me to be the same size as it was before. I thought it could go smaller if it means we could get more time on the guide.
The logos could definitely be bigger. None of those things are any different now with FEB than they were with the first CE.

Seeing the logos are below the channel numbers, ,the only way to make them larger would be to Move them, or make the cell larger, however, people seem to want MORE channels and more hours shown, that can't happen without making the cell larger.
Making the cell larger would lessen the hours potentially available.

The logos don't take up the whole space of what they could now. Look at the size of the Travel Channel logo in the banner above ch 229 then look at the size of the logo in the cell of 277.

And the logos are to the right of the channel number...

My bad, I was thinking they were below, but they are next too .... however, I have a problem with the Channel NAME in the guide (on the left), you can barely make out the channel name now, looks like font is about a 4.

Personally, I don't see peoples obsession with the LOGOS, people don't know 250 logos, if i can't read the channel name, I'm not viewing it.

I think this is where people's individual TVs come into play. I have absolutely no problem reading any of the channel names below the number on my (larger) 4K TV but I have a much harder time on my (smaller) 1080 TV.

I have long wanted logos in the guide after seeing them on competitor's guides and thinking it looked good. Now that I see it everyday, I am over it.

Why do the Logos have to be larger than the Font ?

I think my 60" Pioneer Elite should be quite capable. :D

Just got 0xfb7 without forcing anything on my C61Ks. Some of the secondary menus are cleaner with nice, thin fonts.

One of my 4k TVs lost 4k ability until I went into Display...TV Resolutions and readded 4k. The other TV retained it.

All primary menus, guide and list format looks the same.
