What was the last pay-TV offering for C-Band? When my parents dumped their BUD service in 1998, I believe we had Netlink for a package of channels. Then at some point I heard there was 4DTV, which now seems to be defunct.

I'm sure the demise has to do with lack of demand. I sure would enjoy seeing how CBand premium channels look compared to the ones I have on Dish (i.e., not overly compressed).

I think NPS (National Program Service) was the last pay-TV broadcaster. It ended on December 26 2010. I’m not sure if they were the last ones though.

Just look at an OTA channel that you can receive and compare it to the same FTA channel !

The bigger the tv the better to see the difference !

FTA Wins!

I’m talking about comparing the pay-tv channels. I agree that the NBC’s, ABC’s etc on FTA look better than OTA for sure.

There was , not too long ago, a retailer out of Colorado I believe. That promoted itself as an option for c-band dish owners (a pay service) but you have to buy their receiver.
