Hi Satellite Guys, i would like to know if any of you knows if these channels are broadcasted on 119W satellite? I tried to find them, but i cannot get them actually.

Actually i can get 77W, 119W and 129W Sats only.

Thanks!

They are on 72.7 and 110 only. I'm sure you are using 77 for Dish Mexico and the other two for the American HD channels. Is there any chance that you can get a look at 110? You might be able to change out your dish and LNB that you receive your 119 and 129 on for a 1000.2 and a Western ARC LNB that will receive 110, 119, and 129. Then you simply take your coax from the 77 dish and put it on the input of the new dish. You do a check switch from your receiver and you should be golden.

Thank you for your comment Bobby, actually 110 is too far from my place, the footprint coverage is available at the middle peninsula only (Guerrero negro city, or above)
Really sad about that, because 20-25% of the total population in Baja are US and Canadian citizens. I don't know why dish and other satellite TV providers does not allow to their customers use their equipment here in Mexico, especially in this part of the country. I.m pretty sure the local authorities don't even care about that, because they agree that US or Canadians have the right to bring and use their TV services.

I was checked at Dish uplink report, and i found this important info, apparently MASN2 channel is available on 129W, transponder 25.
Please tell me if i’m wrong with this info.

I looked further into that and it would appear to be there. If you receive it it will be on channel 412-23.

I will check when i get home in about 40 min.

But, what if i still don’t get it? Do you know if this channel is broadcasted in specific satellite spotbeam coverage and not in Conus coverage mode?

This isn't as easy as some might think. First NESN and the main MASN are not on 129 on the Western Arc they are on 110. So the OP would not get them.
But there's more, unless it has been changed as of just a few weeks ago NESN and MASN are no longer available on DISH unless you are in their DMA, they are no longer part of the Sports package. Since the OP specifically mentioned those two I suspect that contributes to the problem.

Besides all that, I am curious as to why Henry wants these channels. Pro sports would be blacked out for him and college sports mostly will be available on other RSNs....

Sorry for the late forward, let me tell you i just checked the channel, and i can’t receive it actually.

The strange part is i can get 129 Bird, and the transponder where the channel is supposed to be as well.
Any idea??

The channel may be there but may be hidden, used just for certain receivers...

If you are talking about MASN2, that is a part-time channel for live games only. To receive it, you would have to have a qualifying package with a service address in their market, or you would have to have had a continuous subscription to the Multi-Sport pack (without making any other changes to the account) since sometime before when those channels were removed from Multi-Sport for out-of-market subscribers.

Hi crodules, actually i have my dish service in Sacramento, CA.
Do you think NESN and MASN channels are not available here?
I have a friend in Houston, and he got a picture of his channel guide, and both channels was there.
Look..

Yes, I have the same channels in my guide, but I have had Multi-Sport for well over a year. There were posts earlier this year from people who had recently added Multi-Sport, complaining that they were not getting those channels. It is unclear whether this is a case where you have to be grandfathered to get those channels outside of their markets, or if it was just some technical glitch. (Or, for that matter, it is unclear whether that technical glitch ever got resolved, since we have not seen any other complaints about not getting those channels recently.)

Well said. For what it is worth NESN (and MASN) are still not listed as being in Sports Pack on the DISH site.
If I was in a position of needing NESN and not getting it via the Sports Pack I would have an answer for sure by now. But I don't need NESN via the Sports Pack by using my Slingbox and getting it from my Ct account.
I did contact NESN back then, got a response from the Program Director that he was unaware NESN was not part of the Sports Pack for out of Market viewers. As it happens NESN has a push with advertising about being available nationwide for some programming. But after that and saying he would contact DISH I never heard again. I also got email addresses from two posters who do need the Sports Pack to get NESN and they gave me their email addresses to give to the program director. Don't know how that all went.

The NESN site does still show DISH as carrying it on the National program. (Which would be the Sports Pack)

NESN also has an app that allows you to watch NESN on a mobile device if you are getting NESN from your provider as being in their market. DISH does not participate in that.
