Frustrated by numerous program guide issues

Here's one: tonight at 9:00 PM, Discovery HD just says "Discovery Channel Programming" in the guide until 1:05 AM. The SD feed shows "Treasure Quest: Snake Island" in those time slots. For those who hide SD duplicates, it might be a good idea to leave them visible, in case of errors like this.

And remains that way in my guide.

Maybe try a fresh guide download. Mine is fixed on Eastern Arc. (Now both feeds show "Treasure Quest: Snake Island" and "Street Outlaws".) On Western Arc (I have not refreshed the guide on that receiver.) I see "Treasure Quest: Snake Island" on both feeds now for the entire night, instead of "Street Outlaws" showing up in the proper time slots.

Can you provide links to the other TV listings that upgrade their grids faster?
Ok this is what I use. It's the old zap2it listings. Now "Do NOT" go to Zap2it's website and use their new listing because it's messed up. Do not pay attention to the Arkansas paper etc. You can put your favorite tv shows in and they turn purple so you can see. I know it's old but they do keep up with the listings better than Titan TV. Trust me. Zap2it on Arkansasonline

I did a quick check of Zap Arkansas site and do not care for it. Listings doesn't show if New or Repeat programs, can't set the grid to 4 hours instead of 6 hours, and printing my favorites uses four pages. Titan shows New or Repeat programs, can set my favorites grid to 4 hours, and I can print my favorites on one page. I think the Titantv.com has been pretty accurate for me too.

Also in the Zap2 Arkansas site most of the channels did not show the channel number for some reason. I did a check of the Zap2 regular site and like it better. It showed all the channel numbers, if the program was New, and the grid was 3 hours. But it was still five pages to print my favorites. The Titantv.com site has more setting options for making a my favorites list. I have been using it for about ten years now and only found one issue with it years ago. One of the channels was incorrect. I sent them an email and they said DISH has not notified them yet of a channel change they had done. Other than that I find Titantv.com a super TV listing site. If anything that is a little negative is that the Titantv.com site is pretty complicated with so many options. But once you get it all set up it works great for me.

Did you register on the old site? Because it shows what programs are new plus whether they're live etc. Also if you go into the preferences it shows where you click on for 6 hour grids.

No resolution for my ongoing issues. For those with name changes, just have to handle manually. Added 30 minutes permanently to "Sports Final" to get 2nd part of the show. Added weekly timer for "Wheel of Fortune" plus 30 minutes to get "Patriot's All Access" since they don't list it.

Latest issue was the change in time on a Bloomberg program. Because it started a half hour earlier it didn't get picked up.

The new episode series timer for Shameless on Showtimes stops working this Sunday after 7:30 PM. If you create a new timer, that one appears to work. I have left the original timer in place in case the issue is fixed. This continues to happen with various timers.

The only new issue I've had that may affect others is incorrect episode numbers. Particularly on 'Manifest'. Still using VIP612 and this show is skipped due to priority. When I use Dish Anywhere the episode numbers due not match our program guide.

Just to be sure you know, the "skipped by priority" has nothing to do with episode numbers, but the timer priority in your timers list.

My only point was the episode discrepancy. It makes it more difficult to find the one you want to view using Dish Anywhere. It will be even harder the further into this new season.

Sorry, I just wanted to be clear, since it looked like you were correlating the two.
