What's their plan? To offer internet service over 5G wireless? I'd be VERY interested in that. Though, living in the sticks means I'll probably be one of the last to have access to it.

They are saying they will offer IOT (Internet Of Things) data service. This is things like wearables, security devices, medical equipment, etc. that needs to talk to services in the cloud. There has been an explosion of these kind of devices, and it is expected to continue. They do not seem interested in providing traditional wireless internet service, like you would get from AT&T or Verizon.

Another stalling tactic.

Dish has put themselves in a position that they must pretend to be building a 5g Network in hopes someone will buy all their bandwidth at the last minute.

The second Wall Street figures out Charlie's poker face and realizes he has nothing, dish Network stock will drop faster than HBO AND CINEMAX being removed

Those devices are usually wifi...they dont talk directly to the 5g service provider..they need a router somewhere

Dish seems to think there is demand for non-WiFi IOT data services. I am not saying I agree, just relaying what Dish is saying.
