The guide is messed,,,,,,,,, AGAIN!

The guide is replicating the Hallmark channel listings on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries which means I can't set a timer to record any new movies that might premiere on HM&M and that does not please the better half. I forced a guide update but it's still messed. I'm really getting tired of this nonsense.

Make sure nothing is being recorded and nothing is scheduled for the next 30 minutes or so then turn off the Hopper and all connected Joeys and a guide download should start within minutes.

Go into Setup and do a switch test. When it's done and you go back to live TV it will automatically update.

It's the awesome Rovi data again. . It was fubarred with Friday's upload to all their customers. I've complained to TiVo, and hoping it's fixed with this afternoons update, but knowing tivo/rovi it could be a few days.

Saturday, I set some manual timers on my TiVo, for the new HMM movies tonight and tomorrow.

A hard reboot forces a guide update, too, as long as the Joeys are off and nothing's recording

Must be why I had a few Fox News Business shows recorded, which I could not find any times set for such and I've never, ever recorded one of these shows. I don't have enough $$ to even pay attention to a financial channel!

So you probably have a legacy receiver because it doesn't work that way on Hoppers.

Sure you can do switch test, it's called 'Check Installation', but it doesn't force a guide download when it's done. To force a guide download on a Hopper or Wally you make sure nothing is being recorded and nothing is scheduled for the next 30 minutes or so. You then turn off the Hopper and all connected Joeys and a guide download should start within minutes.
