Genie Upgrade

Due to circumstances I will have to purchase (lease) the equipment myself. What's the best place to buy from? Amazon? eBay?

As well, anything else I will need? I'm fairly certain I'm running SWM with my existing equipment.

Directv. You will pay everywhere else, you might get a deal from Directv.

Just to be sure if you have SWiM look in the systems info screens under satellite setup, under switch type it will tell you.

As for purchasing I'd recommend www.solidsignal.com, they can also help with anything else that might need to be changed.

If they won't lease you one, they may not authorize one from a second party.

Sounds like you are a "moved" customer, yes?
