Caller ID?

I have HR44/500 receiver. Genie...I have 4 clients (wireless)...I used to have CID on Main receiver until I pressed button to disable (about a month ago).....I have CID on all clients...How do I get CID back on Main receiver? Thx

One you turn it off you are screwed it can not be turned back on. Dumb ATT/Directv feature.

its being removed.
the hr44 is the last unit that even has a phone jack, newer units do not.
it was always spotty and only worked with older pots systems, which themselves are going the way of the dodo

Hmm, my caller ID works just fine on my Hopper 3 using my VoIP service.

I've never liked Caller iD to be displayed on my TV. For me it was an annoyance.
Just my 2 cents.

I'm just the opposite, I found it very helpful.
I have since done away with my landline, so I no longer have a need for it.

Our HBO works fine but we can't get caller ID to work properly.

Yeah, I knew I screwed up when I hit Disable; but figured I could get it back.. Oh well....Now I must get off my butt to check who called. or remember to keep phone near me.This is a landline, so there are not too many calls. It's usually an unwanted call anyway......My other D* receiver works fine w/ CID; but that's my wife's area...
