The OFFICIAL DISH / HBO Thread

I didn't know that they were gone. Both a waste. Nothing worth while on either. Old movies by the time they get them. When I want to watch Bill Maher or John Oliver i'll use a torrent site.

The new Cinemax original series that started earlier in the month Warrior is pretty good. Three episodes in and it got renewed for a second season. Their other new series set to premier last this year, Jett, sounds pretty good too. HBO premiers new movies every Saturday at 8. No new movie this week due to the Rock & Roll HOF Induction ceremony, but the following week on May 4, HBO is premiering The Predator. The Predator was released in theaters on Sept 14, just shy of 8 months doesn't really qualify as old in my opinion. It was released on blu ray and DVD in December, sure I could have stole it from Walmart or Best Buy, but I'd rather pay for it since the movie was not free to make, so therefore I am not entitled to see it for free.

I had HBO/Cinemax for 15 years and I was a paying customer and THEY removed themselves from me paying them,I'm not chasing them around and being extorted to watch their online versions. If they want me to pay they will come back to Dish.Whoever is in charge at ATT/HBO they are sabotaging the company, the net loss was like 544k customers between the ATT platforms.

Same here. I'ver been a dishhead for two decades. I have a Hopper with a Joey. I mostly watched HBO for the boxing and Bill Maher. Game of Thrones I had no interest in. I've got Showtime and the rest of what's available to moi. If HBO wants my ten bucks a month (or so), they (HBO & AT&T) know what they have to do.

Is Bridget Baudot still a thing ?
Not quite what she once was!

Speaking of spinoffs, during last night's series finale of Gotham, I saw a commercial for Pennyworth. I find it interesting that AT&T (owner of DC) would choose to put this on Epix, which isn't available on Directv.

I'd bet good money that deal was done long before AT&T acquired Time Warner.
