Not sure who is contributing to that. I cannot get any WUs for my CPU or GPU these days. It just sits there waiting to download.

Have you been over to the Folding Forum • Index page ? It may be your Firewall is blocking access. Seems odd that you can't get even a CPU Work Unit as those are pretty much universal, but the GPU WUs are tied to the most recent graphics cards. If you have a NVIDIA GTX 730, say, you'd be at the lower limits of what can Fold. My GTX 750 TI is still chugging away, for now.

Anyway, there are several threads in the "I can't get new WUs" category that you can look at to see if your case might be one of those. Good luck!

Too many lightning strikes on the power lines yesterday. Our power blipped four times, the last around 11:30pm. I'm sure my production from Friday was impacted.

I've thought about a UPS but the draw of the two workstations would require a 1500 VA UPS and that drives up the cost. The workstations are set up so they restore the power state they were in when the power was interrupted, so at least they aren't sitting there waiting for me to turn them back on.

I've had UPS's for many years and I do believe in them. Just today we had lightning in the area and the power was flickering. I think it's easier on the computers if they don't have to deal with power fluctuations. If you ever do get serious about a UPS, I've had good luck with Cyberpower. They cost less than APC and IMHO they have proven themselves to be good enough.

I've got UPS units for my Dish Hopper 3 / LG OLED; Dish 4K Joey / Sony Bravia; iMac; Mac Mini; and home networking. Since the Folding workstations are not considered "critical" I don't have them on a separate UPS. Maybe if I get a hand-me-down from work I'll think about it, but maybe I'll get a Tesla PowerWall and render the point moot… ;)

I've noticed that the EOC Sigs aren't updating, and there is no new News on the Extreme Overclocking site for almost a year.

Edit: It's definitely the Forum Software caching the EOC Signature block GIFs. If I put in my URL directly into the browser I get my current EOC stats.
I also tried using "HTTPS" instead of "HTTP" but that produced a broken image icon instead.

Hmmm, both of my Folders had a "stuck" slot. The stuck slot showed 0% Download, but nothing was happening for the last 4-5 days. I think I got it fixed, but one machine still shows a phantom Queue Entry.

Here I am, trying to hold on to #2, and my systems are trying to convince me to quit ;)

And Scott Greczkowski, ever since you played around with the Forum software, the signature block graphics haven't been updating. My signature block:

and as of this posting, it should be:

I'm apparently getting a lousy mix of Work Units was I don't seem to be able to get past 1,900,000 PPD. I may need to spend some time in the basement this weekend.
On the other hand, congratulations to JMC98 for passing 80,000,000 Points! Way to Fold!!!

Hmmm, couldn't tell by my Signature graphic. We're still #48 according to that. I suppose I'll just need to subtlety tweak the sig block color every day.

Edit: and yes, I'll keep whining about it until one of the Mods tells me that XenForo doesn't support dynamic signatures. ;)
