In Montego Jamaica right now at my second home. 6Ft channel Master dish Cband on 105w the 4 NBC mux I thought it was live 24hrs but most times it's just blank most of the time, Ku is on 97w. I tried 99w I got the lesea channels but not the Puerto Rican Mux on 3827.

Are there any 24hr american news channels available?

97w KU has Press TV and RT America.
131w C-band still has C-Span on analog 24 hrs.
I think I missed one in the 65w range but can't find it ATM. Most others are just feeds here and there.

Bloomberg might be the only American news channel you can get FTA from Jamaica.

But there are many non-American news channels in English that you can get (some of them with very questionable perspective...)

15W: Press TV (Iran) in Ku band
55.5W: CGTN (China)
58W: France 24 English, TRT World (Turkey), RT America (Russia), CGTN
78W: Telesur English (Venezuela, Cuba)
97W: Press TV, RT America, CNC World (China) in Ku

Also noteworthy, not really news channels but rather channels with excellent news coverage:
103W C-band (might be too weak) - DW-TV English (Germany)
58W C-Band - Arirang TV (Korea), NHK World (Japan)

65W Ku might be worth checking regularly, as it sometimes relays some US channels.

40.5W Circular C-band has BFBS radio (British Forces Broadcast Service), i'm guessing they have news

Thanks for the responses I did have it on 113w ku and got Reuters. I wanted to try the Cband 4040 v 30000 but did not spend any time to try and catch it.
What about 91ku fox and CBS is it better than the NBC mux ?

Any live feeds on 99w or 87w worth setting up for ?

I don't think that 87W, 91W or 99W cover Jamaica, but in case you're able to get them, 87W Ku has CNN feeds, 91W Ku has CBS and Fox (they are affiliates from Colorado, full time, but don't expect those to last). 99W Ku has Fox and CBS feeds but my understanding is that those are not easy to receive even in the US mainland, so from Jamaica I doubt very much you'd get those.

You can also try to get 125W Ku, it has a bunch of PBS feeds with some excellent news programs on the main PBS feeds as well as on World Channel

If you have High Speed Internet and a Roku device, there are lots of free as well as subscription news channels, from around the world, which can greatly supplement satellite delivered channels.

I was able to receive the 87w and the cnn feeds once but not the pbs. got 99w Cband but not the news channels. I would like the 125w pbs but also want 97w on the same dish. I don't think that is possible though.
Right now I am parked on 105w for the NBC mux but will try to see what I can do about 125w. Maybe need to park between a satellite that will allow to have 125 and 97w as sidecars

125W Ku is only 42dBW in Jamaica, and is never an easy target from anywhere, so I doubt you can get away with a sidecar LNBF.

Also I forgot, another news source (Radio only) is BBC World Service on 55.5W C-Band. I was able to get it with a 120cm dish.

you might want to try PBS on 87W Ku again, unless your attempt was quite recent. They have increased the power some time last year, and it's a much easier target now than it used to be

87w was able to get it last year but not this year at all. Also I should be able to get 125w but there is a building blocking the signal and I am not able to move the dish I am able to swing the dish to 113w and get great signal maybe 117w. But not able to get any pbs at all
