Nascar 2020

The only sports that I know of that is live is horse racing on NBCSN.:deadhorse

Both NBCSN and FS1 have differing horse racing packages on weekends, and the TVG channel is full time. IMHO, the Triple Crown races were foolish to cancel. A sports starved populace could have rediscovered horse racing, or discovered it for the first time.

As to i-racing, I think you will see it have a place on TV in the future, mostly among its own set, but with retirees and the occasional "busch-whacker" type guy show up now and then.

They could have done the Horse Race if they had no fans in the stands .... i guess.

Remember, the horses would have to stay 6 feet apart as well.

That is exactly what they are doing with the lesser races now. The joke running around gambling circles when it was announced that horse racing was continuing without fans being allowed in was "how could you tell".

This is because horse racing over the last so many years has evolved into almost a "studio sport" where the people actually at the track are insignificant to the real purpose, which is to produce content for internet gambling.

With the exception of the three Triple Crown races, and the day before the Derby, where the female version, the Kentucky Oaks, is run. These are the only dates where the live gate matters. The three Triple Crown promoters, IMHO, have been penny-wise and pound-foolish. The races could have been held, as we see going on now, and the effect on the sport long term could have been grand.

It looks like Larson is in real trouble, He may lose his real ride over his big mouth. I'm pretty sure he will lose sponsor's.

The story I read he thought he was talking to his spotter on a secure channel but turned out it was broadcast out to eeeeverybody, Was that race on Tv Sunday night? I was just watching Race Hub and Chevy just dropped him so he is gone.

He will get a ride somewhere else. He's too good a driver to not race. He will have to go thru a lot of sensitivity training and do alot of apologizing but he'll race again.

Yes he will race again but not with a good team with good equipment, He is damaged goods now no matter what program he goes through. It's all about sponsors and no business will sponsor him and I don't think there's a team that will hire him in the next year or two or ever, I mean in some peoples eyes he is a racist now.
