Hopper3 Manual

I have searched for days for a pdf copy of the users manual for the Hopper3. I have found manuals for other Hoppers but they are so old the front of the manual has the word "Blockbuster" on it. We know how old that manual would be. Others I have found are setup manuals and not what I need.
I just signed up for Dish, but they will not install until the end of August. Requested by me since I will be gone most of August. I would guess the installer will have one, but I would like to read all about it first. Anyone know where I can get a copy?

Be aware that the remote depicted in this literature is NOT the remote you will receive.

You will get a Dish 54.0 remote not the touch pad remote.

I got an update on my installation and it was done on Sunday the 9th. I did receive the Hopper 3 and the voice remote.
The website listed above (manualslib.com) does not agree with my virus program. As soon as I attempt to go there, I get a big red screen and a big warning to notify Microsoft at a phone number. It locks up the laptop to the point where I have to use device manager to close that red warning screen.

That warning may be from malware. Microsoft does not ordinarily work that way. If you have Win10 It will deal with a problem in the background.

I have Win10 2004 and it downloaded the pdf, no problem.

I looked for a Hopper 3 Owner's Manual PDF and it doesn't look like Dish supplies one. I found several at other websites (as described in the above posts) but I still don't like to download owner's manuals from websites other than the manufacturer . . . ????

So the Hopper 3 has 16 tuners? The Dish tech support guy told me that the Hopper that they would install at my house will have 5 tuners? Does that sound right? Would that make it a Hopper 2?

5 tuners would be a Hopper 2 with a Super Joey. Don't let them do that. Go for the Hopper 3 with a Joey 3.

They are going to try and install a Wireless Joey, unless it's too far from the Hopper. Is a Wireless Joey and a Joey 3 the same device? Can a Wireless Joey be connected to a Hopper 3?

The original wireless Joey is based on the wired Joey 2.0, and therefore older. The wireless will work on a Hopper3. I would always opt for a wired Joey 3.0 unless having coax run is simply unfeasible.

Is the Wireless Joey problematic? Bugs? Interference with house wifi systems?

Ok, please bear with me here . . .

Right now there are two coax cables from my roof dish. One coax cable goes to one end of the house, the other coax cable goes to the other end of the house. They both drive old DVR 625s. My house has no basement or attic. The coax cables are run around the periphery of the house, well hidden from view. The two TVs are about 90 feet apart and several walls. In order to have a wired Joey it would have to look like this:

- New roof dish antenna (HD) and switch(es)
- One coax cable would come into the house (as it already does) and be attached to the Hopper.
- A new coax cable would then come out of the Hopper and go back outside and up on the roof where it would be attached to the existing coax cable which then could go along the periphery of the house (as it already does) to the Joey.
