Is your second Hopper 3 still installed via the Single Hybrid Hub like the other one and then tied into via a coax? Or is your entire configuration different now? Thanks!

Still same config. DPH42 switch to Duo Hybrid Hub then from Hub to both Hopper 3s.

As you will notice the 40.0 remote does not work well with it. They want you to use the DISH Vice Remote with it and ONLY the Dish voice remote.

My wife HATES the Dish 54 remotes but its the only way she has full access to her recorded shows.

Keep us posted on how he hopper + is performing and if it resets or freezes and if it is producing a better PQ. I need PIP and multi view so the Hopper + is disconnected and never tried to reconnect it to see how it affected the 2nd Hopper 3. Glad to hear so far you have no issues

Just for grins you might try to connect one of your new Joey 4s to the Hopper 3 without the Hopper+. I know the Joey 4 will work without a Hopper+ so it just might work. You are not going to break anything. If it doesn't work simply go back to the original configuration.

Your two Hoppers might be on different software and that could be a hangup.

We love them. It is my spare bedrooms that the 40.0 comes in handy for kids and guest. They go into a state of shock when they try to use the 54.0. I was just so happy that the 2nd Hopper 3 still worked (for now) and the 40.0 remotes work for the most part. I will probably swap out most of the 40.0s now that I have lots of spare 54.0 remotes. My Commander just noticed the much better picture quality. Yehaa.

And multi-level brightness! I have a Logitech Elite that seems so dim even all the dish remotes that have back lite seems dim. I'm only 53 yrs. old but feel much older at times

Throw voice option on it and call it perfection or close to it!

IR is enabled on all the remotes that are paired. My two 21.0s worked good before on my 4KJ & H3. And they still work on my 2nd H3. They don't work on the J4 & H+.

It gets even better! (sarcasm of course) They not only placed an order for a Hopper 3 not needed but also 2 4K Joeys. And cannot cancel the order! Do I laugh cry or both?

When the Tech arrives, just tell him to call Dash (Yes, Dash, not Dish) and modify it

Response time is slower when she presses the buttons on her 54.0 than it use to be with the H3. Also when she skips forward a recording the picture is slow to get going again. Anyone else notice this with the H+? Is this something that will get better as she (H+) settles down?

After using 40 remotes for so long and now 54 exclusively, the rare times I have a 40 in my hand feels cumbersome and bulky, buttons are much easier to use with one hand on the 54.

I think they are a little better too. Will know more when we watch them for longer times.
