NFL 2025-2026 Season

Hard to say. Steelers own his right because he stepped down instead of having his contract terminated. A team that wants Tomlin will have to trade for him.
He would have been better off to let the Steelers fire him. In that case they would have to pay him for two years (unless there is a rule they don't have to pay him if he coaches in the NFL...not sure about that though) and he could take a job anywhere he wants without teams having to worry about compensation to the Steelers.

Unless they weren't going to fire him. They probably had a discussion and this was his only option if he wanted out. Perhaps he can settle with them on a lesser / no payout to be released from his contract, but otherwise someone will have to give up something to hire him in the short term.

He could have waited a while to see what would happen.

Tomlin's problem is he's too good. To continue to win games with that long list of 2nd and 3rd string QB's since Big Ben retired was amazing. And that was the problem. Even this year with Rodgers, they had no running attack and their best receiver's were gone yet they won the division and beat the Ravens to boot. The team was never bad enough to be in a position to draft a top QB and so they were forever stuck in no man's land. I'd love to have him in GB but those fools are going to extend LaFleur so I have 2-3 more years to look forward to the "LaFleur 2nd half choke".

Bills completely unravel on Defense in OT as the Broncos win yet another 1-score game and advance to the AFC Championship. What a game.

Plot twist: Bo Nix broke a bone in his ankle on the 2nd to last play of the game. His season is over.

Meanwhile Bills fans are complaining about clear PI called on them and not understanding what it means to survive the ground when catching a pass.

lol.
