Hopper1s

I have one in my attic. I guess that it is doing okay. :biggrin
I presume it is sleeping it off.

I have 2 211's also in storage (one K version and the other is an original 211).

I don't need to add one as an extra receiver but I hate to get rid of them.

They still get installed on a somewhat common basis. I see probably a half dozen a month, give or take. Most I can get modified toa Hopper Sling

It was liking watching grass grow compared to the Hopper 3.

Speaking of slinging things in general, the old man of "slinging" things is on respirator and scheduled for euthanasia Nov 9.
it was a great product since the customer was not restricted to one service provider.

On behalf of the Sling Media team, we'd like to remind you that Slingbox servers will be permanently taken offline November 9, 2022, at which point all Slingbox devices and services will become inoperable.

My Hava Platinum needed no server at all to go from one place to another on the LAN. It could feed 5 clients at once, too. Unfortunately it developed video sync issues and I haven't had it plugged in in years.:( Oh, and did I mention the stream was plain vanilla UNencrypted MPEG-2?

Does this mean the sling feature will no longer work with hopper2 and hopper3?

Actually, are we sure the SNAP will work with a Hopper 2000? I vaguely recall it only working with Sling equipped boxes- different chipsets?

If I remember correctly, when the Snap was announced it was for the H2's only. The H1's couldn't use it and the H3's didn't need it.
