I just picked up an older Digipower SG2100 and I need help determining what parts I'm missing and how the motor connects to the mount.

I have used a newer SG2100 before (it broke a couple years ago and I got rid of it stupidly), but the mount was simpler. I still have all the satellite side mounting equipment.

I may have posted this in the wrong section, if so Mods can you move it to the correct section.

This looks like you have a motor assembly and a reflector back mount assembly The reflector back mount would have the motor shaft inserted inside its pipe clamps. The whole back mount assembly for the motor unit to fasten it to a pole appears to be missing.

Everyone else's mileage may vary.

Ok, so it's confirmed I'm missing this part (the part I was hoping was only for newer models)

So I'm left in this state: Is there somewhere I can buy just that bracket or anyone have ideas on how I can jerry-rigg it with parts from the hardware store?

No source for components and most parts were unique to the model unless it was a branded OEM... But it is easy enough to bend or weld a bracket, cut out a short slot and drill a few holes. Nothing magical, just use an angle finder and spirit level to determine the approximate angles to set the motor elevation minus the tube angle. Most manuals provided the setting for different latitudes.

Hope you didn't skip geometry class! LOL

Have given away several HH DiSEqC motors (90/100/120 variants) in the past few years. Likely have a used unit left in storage if you want to cover the shipping cost.

I f'ing suck at match class! Lol. Main question I have is how do I find the curve angle for the elevation slider hole (meaning where to place the angle finder and spirit level to find the start and end points of the hole)? Everything else is relatively easy (cut a circular hole here, bend metal at 90deg, etc).

I think he just meant about how to find elevation once you have some means of adjustably mounting. You really wouldn't need nearly that much travel on an adjustment slot- just note as to where most dish mounts are set in your locale. It only has that large amount of adjustment (10-75) to account for locating from anywhere near equator to near-arctic. An inch of slot, well placed, would probably be more than enough

Do I understand correctly that you don't need/use the dish bracket on your photos?

In that case, when the width of the bracket (red arrow) matches about the width of the motor, you might be able to use that part of the bracket as a motor bracket. Just needing an extra slot and/or holes.
However, the "depth" of the bracket looks rather small, so it might not fit.

Just thinking out loud.....
