MeTV Removed from Dish

Is MeTV still gone? I notice that on DishPromise.com, they removed the update on MeTV with the channels that show similar shows. https://my.dish.com/promise I have a local MeTV station so I don't receive the national version to know if it is still there. Typically removing the info on Dish Promise is either a sign they came to a deal or talks completely broke off. But then if they come to a deal, they will also usually mention that for a day or two.

The guide still says MeTV is not available on my guide for Ch 247

Is it just me, or does Dish seem less...inclined...to push providers to sign these days? This thing with MeTV was what pushed us over the edge, even though the PQ from Dish on MeTV was, well, terrible. It just seems that the loss of channels has become an accepted reality among Dish customers and that is really sad.

Not carrying MeTV is the push. Diginets can pay for access or they can provide content that isn't readily available as their leverage for carriage.

Well, if they're not going to get it back on 247 the least they could do is give me correct grid info for the OTA channel. I've beaten them up for over a year when our MeTV moved from the local CBS affiliate subchannel (8.2) to an independent (21.1). Dish's OTA grid coverage for Las Vegas is virtually non-existent. Even network channels aren't there (just as 1 hour anonymous blocks.)

MeTV has been off for months now. With the current chaos at Dish, I'm guessing that making a deal with Weigel is not a priority. Maybe it wasn't much of one even before the hack.

MeTV is one of our favorite channels. Fortunately, it is on a subchannel that we can get OTA. Unfortunately, there is no guide info and we have to set manual timers if we want to record something.

The info is showing up in our guide.

You’re lucky because in most cases anything other than the .1 subchannel doesn’t have guide data on DISH receivers.
Here’s what my guide looks like not sure if the .00 has anything to do with it or not?

Lincoln, Nebraska market (Lincoln/Grand Island/Hastings) has MeTv on a -1 (KNHL) so it is carried like any other local. There are a few markets where a diginet is carried on a -1 and is carried on Dish's locals
