Dish Change Question

Internal Dish tech installed my pole mount today. Can finally get my house siding repaired now. Pole is seven foot, about 2.5 foot in the ground with foam. I still have to install conduit clamps on the side of house. Technician said he has heard that a new western arc setup is coming out. It suppose to be a 500 dish with just two LNBs for 119 and 110.

Yep, it was bad. Broke my heart knowing that my Dish 1000+ had to come down. It was mounted in 2007 and still worked good.

It's been out. I'm shocked that in-house office doesn't have them

How can I get the newer model? Does it have DPP or DPH LNBs? Can I purchase one from you?

So back to what they started with. A dish 500 and twin lnb. The more things change the more they stay the same.

It's DPH. There really is no difference other than there's no "eye" for the 129 and it's the old 500 Dish instead of the .2000

The LNB may have two eyes, but it's not a twin.

New and no. We don't sell equipment

dishdude, I thought the pic in post #62 was a Easter Arc setup. So is the pic in post #62 of the new Western Arc setup? Is that a dish 500? Sure looks small.

It's the new western arc 119/110 setup. Same as the old Dish 500 from way back in the day, just with a new paint finish and LNB.
