What's for dinner ?

Kind of but it was in the late 70s. I'm sure it's changed a lot. I've lived in the San Fernando Valley and the San Gabriel Valley. My work was in the East LA area, a bit of time in the downtown area, Montebello, and Alhambra. I moved north in 1981 but have been to both valleys over the years.

Homemade tomato sauce, simmered with boneless pork loin chops until the chops were tender. Ricotta and basil ravioli, garlic bread and salad. Cheap red wine. 🍷 :)
I got one of the best compliments from my wife, who is Italian. She said, that was just like my mother used to make. Seriously, 40 years of marriage and I've gotten, "That was good." Never, "That was just like my mother used to make." I'll take it.
