SXM still giving discounts

My SXM plan expires in a few weeks so I used chat and stated I wanted to renew on this plan 36FOR99SELECT, they asked how I heard about it, I said email (I lied) and online. They asked for my radio ID and name and address. That was it... So now I don't have to think about it for 3 years...

When we renewed a few weeks back, I had also tried that and was unable to convince the AI that we were eligible to have it. I was able to cut our rate by ~$1.50/mo., but that was good enough for us.

They said Last Year when I re upped that I wouldn't need to call/text/chat in to them next year as it would be automatic ....

Do I trust it, or will they send me a bill for $600 or something ridiculous at the renewal time ?
Has anyone went thru this ?

Mine is up next month. When I logged into my account I noticed that there is a cancel button to click. That was never there before.

Thats when you Text/Chat with them and ask about a better offer, I'd wait till your close to being at the end of your paid period.

I remember, many years ago, I got my renewal and it showed $600 for 2 radios ... I laughed ...
Called and got it for maybe $2-300 at the time. (I typically get one of the top packages, need NFL and MLB)
That said, I confirmed that those are available now in my $119 package.

I cancelled my subscription today. The chat bot made a few offers that were not to my liking. $60/year +fees is what the service is worth to me. Not a penny more. We'll see what kind of offers I get in the coming months. Or not. In the mean time I have a couple of high capacity USB sticks loaded up with hundreds of hours of music.

That's what I'm paying; $4.99/month + taxes and fees which adds up to a total of $5.35/month

The streaming works great with Apple Car Play and on my desktop at work. And on my Echo.

I have to call in since i still get a paper bill The chat bot wants my debit or cc!!! i have usb sticks loaded with songs also. i won't pay more than 100.00 a year since i do listen to some of the talk channels... but i don't let them know that . i already know it's gonna go down. i'm gonna tell em there freaking crazy to pay that amount to listen to music and ask to see if there's any promo's the rep will say no then i say cancel. then i get put on hold and all of a sudden there offering me the moon and stars. it went up for me by 30.00... i had a stroke when they told me 329.99 a year ago . hell were almost talking cable subs here!!! funny thing is they will snail mail you like a desperate ex with offers after you cancel
