The 619's are not a part time version of the new NBCSN, it's a group of event only channels that NBCU initially branded as "Peacock Games" but later rebranded to "NBC Sports". The only things NBCU has scheduled for them is college sports and premier league, some of which included games not carried by NBCSN. The rest of the time the upstream feeds just have Peacock's "Coverage will resume shortly" slate:


Even though they didn't go live until later, DTV actually started testing them in early September, a month before YouTubeTV signed a deal to be the first provider to carry the resurrected NBCSN when it relaunched in November. The new NBCSN is currently only available with YTTV or as a X1/IP channel on Comcast. It's also still not available to stream via those providers' TV Everwhere credentials on the NBC app and website. In YTTV's case, most MLB.tv subscribers living in areas claimed by multiple teams, including NYC, LA, Chicago and DC/Baltimore would also need to get multiple D2C subscriptions since they dropped everything except the NBC Sports RSNs.

That's the danger of reasoning where carriage contracts (and possibly satellite bandwidth) are in play.

Also SNB is 1 event /4hours.

Im sure worse case than can pull from a PpV movie slot . Like they use to do for NFL again talking worse case

What is required to get the NBCSN channels? I only see 619-2 in my guide, not the rest. Do you have to subscribe to Peacock through D*?

How much bandwidth you have available doesn't mean they can put anything they want on it. They have to reach an agreement on it before they can put it up there.

I wish there was a way to authenticate with DirecTV as an Apple TV subscriber and get access to the Apple satellite channels.

The Peacock add on would be useful for you at $2 you can't beat that ... you get More MLB games (Sunday Night) as well as the NFL games come fall.

Since this past fall, access to Peacock Premium has been part of the $9.99 Movies Extra Pack, which is $1 cheaper than what a standalone Peacock Premium subscription costs. (Movies Extra used to be $5.99, so Peacock Premium is bundled for $4) It also gives you access to the Premier League and NCAA games on the NBC Sports event channels in the 619s. You'll have to use the Peacock app to watch their MLB, NBA and NFL games, which is linked on channel 197 if you have a Gemini, Sports Central will also directly link you to the live streams in Peacock and some other apps.

For Apple TV subscribers, a channel with Sky Sports F1's telecasts was also added to DIRECTV this week in time for the Miami GP.

They don't have any of the NBC Sports/Peacock channels. They have 3 Prime Video Sports channels that carry multiple events, including what used to be the Yankees OTA package for those in YES territory, MLBEI has all of the Prime Video Yankee games for out of market business and residential customers.

They also have a channel for the Netflix MLB games, the Apple TV channels that residential customers now get (2 MLB, 2 Formula 1, 15 MLS), 20 channels for Paramount+'s UEFA Champions League coverage, and the 7 ESPN+ channels which are now available to residential satellite subscribers (streaming customers have the ESPN app integrated into the Gemini's guide and Sports Central). They also have PPV event channels carrying AEW, WWE, UFC, DAZN and other events from Joe Hand Promotions.
