my HR20 won't let me watch recorded PPVs???

I purchased Nacho Libre over the net (no phone line) and it played fine while it was on. I recorded it on my DVR. Now when I try and watch the recorded version under list, it just sits there with a black screen and won't play. I can't fast forward through it either--the status bar just sits there. It is almost as if the DVR doesn't recognize that I paid for it??? I called Directv customer service, but they weren't able to help...? Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is it software? A problem with my account? Anyone? Thanks for any help.....:(
 
It is something that has happened to me in the past with shows, I dont have a solution, but it is frustrating especilly when you are wanting to watch a show you have taped.

Not sure if this will help or not, but try resetting the unit and then see if you can view it.
Let us know, this type of thing came up awhile back, but it was not with a PPV recording.

:) Maybe old news but sounds a lot like the OPs question.

Did the OP try resetting and see if that took care of it ?
I have not seen a reply yet.
Awhile back that was happening and I thought it was taken care of with an update because I have not seen it since.

Q. Is there any kind of built in time limit you have when you purchase a PPV to watch it, or once you buy it,it's yours till you delete it ?

After about a week of actively monitoring the problem it appears to be the same as the OP's. It is not just PPV, it is other recordings as well. *sigh* This sucks, I am in Canada and this is going to be a major PITA to deal with--I can feel it. Anyhow, just thought I would update y'all. I'm going to start a new thread to see what others have experienced with this issue.
