Is Dwayne Wade the best clutch TEAM player in the NBA NOW??

The NBA All-Star game has always been everybody for themselves. 99.9% of the time they don't play as a team in this game.

World B Free?

YOU do not remember World B Free??? His REAL name was Lloyd B. Free...but the nut job changed it legally. Him and George "Iceman" Gervin would stage this scoring competition in the late 70s/early 80s where teammatess were AFRAID to pass the ball to them because they may never get back again....and they were right.

NBA has ALWAYS had their "escopeteros"(spanish version of gunners sound so much funnier to me...LOL)...affectionately know as "gunners".

I know who the Iceman is, but I didn't know that other stuff. I was born in the 70's so I don't remember much that happened.

Funniest and the most ironic thing over the weekend. Kobe was MVP because he would not pass....and OMG, he sucked in the "Skills Competition" because he could not pass....LOL....talk about irony...and the truth. He will NEVER be the kind of player that makes everyone around him better.....because he is quick sand....once it goes in, it never comes out.

he did have six assists in an ALL STAR game

Let's see now ... How many assists did Dywayne Wade have? How about 3? I guess that means that your 18 month son is better than Wade .... lol

LOL...Maybe....but I assure you my 18 month old son with be 100 times MORE the team player Kobe will EVER be!

Salsa, I got a 2 yr. old that will join your son. Lets see here , were both dads with young sons that saw the Iceman (I remember him from High School!) and World B. Free play? Makes us kind of old, doesn't it?

GREAT!! See what you started!!!:p I was sorting hoping for a power hitting catcher that hits both lefthanded and righthanded....but I am not asking for much....:D
But he really likes basketball....have a minnie hoops and is constantly taking shots. Infact, his first english word he learned(we spanish to him) was "ball"....baseball runs in the family blood....was sort of hoping he continues the family legacy.....I wish the best for your son Paul!!:up

I'll be 50 this coming Christmas. My son will be 2 March 5th. He's a big one - 40 inches tall and 39 pounds. Throws and catches pretty well for his age, but we're figuring him to be a linebacker, although I would rather have him play baseball. I'm like any other dad though, I just want him to have a better life then I've had. Salsa , I send you're son my best, and here's to hoping they both grow up to be great men, whatever they do.

Looks like Wade will be out for a while with a separted shoulder.

I think you can still make a trade, but the deadline is close.

Trade deadline passes, and the Eastern conference sits on it's hands. Are they conceding the title to Detroit, or do they (Chicago Cleveland, Miami, and Washington) think they have the talent to beat us? If Wade is done for the year, so is Miami. Cleveland really needs a point guard, Chicago needed some low post help, and Washington is all offense. (We'll see how far that gets them in the playoffs!) Meanwhile the Pistons are firing on all the pistons (pardon the pun.)
