NCAA Basketball Tournament

even though its the first round, we are all running pretty close!! great job everyone, and by the way I am glad there are some doughnuts in there, at least I wont get last!

Those with the doughnuts must not have picked anything.

Its funny all it takes is one game to destroy your brackets.

I was LUCKY enough to pck some upsets but if Wisconsin lost I woulda been crushed.

Hmmm...Sean...Stuart ...Do you think I rolled in the first round because of the stellar coverage that Directv provided?:D :p :D :p

You are sure right about this. I was stupid enough to think that Coach K would have had Duke all ready for the tourney and get them through at least the sweet 16 or further. I was sure wrong about this one.

I thought Xavier got screwed....should have been Intentional on Oden at the end when he absolutely laid out the Xavier guy. @1 shoots and the ball instead of 1 and 1. Ridiculous call or lack thereof. And I have Ohio St. to win it.

You conveniently forgot about the missed hack that occured before the Xavier guy got the rebound.

The OSU player ended up on the floor.

(That game almost wiped me out.)

The problem with this is that you could call an intentional foul on almost every foul at the end of the game when a team is trying to foul. He did foul him a little hard but I would not say that he laid him out. The guy only was pushed back a couple of feet.

he landed on his back and he was not going for he ball or would have hit his arm, he was facing him when he fouled him.

He certainly did. It should have been a flagrant foul. Two shots and the ball. The refs wanted Ohio State in this one.

If the refs had called the foul on Xavier BEFORE the rebound..when the OSU player was knocked to the floor during the shot, this wouldnt have been an issue.

OSU would have been shooting.

So if the officials really wanted OSU to win they easily could have called the foul when the OSU player was knocked to the floor.
