Is the ipod fully compatible with the ipod yet where you can stream the music thats on it or do you have to transfer all the music on to your PS3?

No they are not fully compatible, but it is possible to play music from the ipod without first copying to the hard disk of the PS3. You just have to locate the correct folder after pushing the triangle key.
