Updated 622 External Storage Information

They're shoving a lot into this one upgrade (Ethernet phone home + External HD support). I'd rather they leave the transfer between receivers option on the table for the time being. Let's get past the larger dilemma (capacity constraints) first.

My wife will be ecstatic about this So will I; I'll have to Dish up a 2nd 622.

Good point and considering what happened with 4.05,6 & 9 and then back to 4.05, how many still trust "E" enough to leave their receiver set to accept automatically?

Nope you can have more then one drive (like one for TV shows, another for sports, another for movies... etc. (I have this verified.)

Upon initial software release the hard drive is intended for use with one receiver; if subscribers try to attach the HDD to a second receiver, they may risk loss of content.

So, is it safe to say at least initially, that if you have to get a replacement receiver, you're screwed with the content on the external drive??
